Pros: Overall stay was great. We stayed 3 nights. The room was 'roomy' if you know what I mean :-) Not like other locations where you are cramped for space. Staff was helpful.
Cons: No swimming pool, no fitness center. Per the front desk lady the swimming pool is being added in 2013. Seems the cleaning lady forgot to change the pillow covers after the previous occupant left, so we had to get them changed.
Location wise it was pretty close to the city center, so that's a plus.
Overall good!

The front desk staff was very responsive at checkin and checkout. The room presented itself very well. The housekeeping staff did a good job. No hairs on the bathroom floor or any where else. Breakfast was fine.

The hotel close to the Orange airport, also close to a busy freeway, I expected the room to be a little noisy, but It was nice and quiet.
Front desk people were nice and helpful, However the high speed internet was slow than my expected.

This hotel is wonderful. The hotel common areas and rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and extremely helpful. We have been visiting this hotel for about 3 years and every stay has been pleasant and leaves us with the desire to return.

The most important feature of any hotel after cleanliness is the quality of their high speed internet access. When traveling on business, being able to stay connected while I am working from the hotel is extremely important. After working while I try to relax it is just as important that I am able to play games, and watch streaming video like Netflix.
This hotel was clean and nice and the staff was fantastic. However the high speed internet was INSANELY SLOW to the point that it was nearly unusable. While management tried to fix the issue, apologized and offered adjustment none of those things make the stay any better.
I cannot stay at this hotel again and I can’t recommend it due to the fact that the internet was so poor.

Overall this place was good, but rooms were smaller than usual. One of the days they forgot to clean the room and take the towels. Overall fair with good gym privileges and breakfast.

Since the hotel is so close to a busy freeway, I expected the room to be a little noisy. It was nice and quiet which is always important to me. Front desk people were nice and helpful

Just as expected. Nothing exceptional and nothing to really complain about. Room was clean. Breakfast was hot.
The only hiccup I had was someone from the earlier shift gave away our room. When I went to use the keycard it didn't work. I tried it about five times before someone in the room spoke up and notified me that the room was occupied. I went back to the front desk. They called the room occupant to get their name. Found out that they should have been in room 215, but were put in 216 instead. 216 was supposed to be my room.

The rooms are large and comfortable. Each room has a mini 'kitchen' area that has a sink, microwave, refrigerator, small cupboard and drawer. Wish I had stayed longer to take advantage of stocking the area with food. We had one night and used the refrigerator and sink all evening. Staff was friendly and helpful in finding us an excellent place for pizza and salad. Breakfast room was a nice size and the food choices are typical for HIExpress. Love the breakfast option, especially for kids and if you want to save some money. Ice vending not on every floor but okay.

I was in California for a week on business and stayed here. It's conveniently located near SNA airport, and avoids some of the more congested roadways. The hotel is a little dated, and has an odd layout, but it's not too bad. Parking is also a bit tricky depending on the time of day you get there. My advice...get there before 7-9pm so you can find a space. Otherwise, you might be parking at the senior center or trailer park that are immediately next door.

Stayed here for a week on business. The accommodations were sufficient, but nothing great. The hotel is a little dated, but the staff was pretty friendly. It's in a good location for me because it's close to John Wayne Airport (SNA), and is kind of away from some of the busier streets and highways. It's also just a stone's throw from Huntington Beach, which was nice in the evenings. The only downside is that its situated directly between a senior center and a trailer park. Parking is a little tight, and there was one night where I came in around 9am just before some other guy. I got the last spot. I have no idea where he ended up parking...maybe in the trailer park.

I was surprised to find a coin-operated laundry for guests use! This is a welcomed and important amenity for those traveling. I'd definitely stay at Holiday Inn Express again in the future!

This was a very welcome little retreat for us, very quiet, very nice, very clean. We stayed due to a event locally we were attending, Woke to a amazing breakfast assortment, the next day, was very pleased with the assortment, everyone was very pleasant and will stay here again if the need arises.
Very happy with the entire stay.

The service was excellent. I was checked in, in under 1 minute. Parking was a bit of a nightmare late at night but as I've experienced at many other hotels in the area that is a common theme.

Staff vary friendly and knows the area for my visit , the Hotel is located in a good neighborhood . The only downside is there isn't a hot tub or pool , but beach is not far away . I encourage everyone to consider this Hotel for your next visit in this area .
