Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Manager policies? I stay in the Covington area several times a year with the United States Government. I am a smoker and respect their policies and prefer a downstairs room for easy access to outside areas. This stay I was told there were no downstairs rooms available and to keep asking everyday. Everyday I asked and was told they were overbooked. Even when there were only 15 cars in the parking lot at 10p.m. (sometimes less) I was finally told the truth by one of the workers that it was because we are Govt. and we cant have downstairs rooms nor king beds unless we pay the extra money. It is my understanding that this owner has all three hotels in the area and tries to get the govt. employees to stay in the lesser hotels. I Know this survey will not do any good but I feel this is somewhat unfair treatment for the product and amount of stays that is guaranteed money for the owner. Against my needs while in Covington and the fact that I love Holiday Inn express hotels I most likely will seek another means of lodging in Covington from now on and will advise my 20+ coworkers to do the same. Holiday Inn express has always been my favorite till now. February 16, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great hotel I needed rooms for my daughter and her family over the holidays and Holiday Inn Express staff in Covington, Tennessee took care of everything. I could not have asked for better service. The hotel was spotless, had a great indoor pool and a wonderful breakfast. The beds were so comfortable I wished I could have slep there. I like how they always have the reservations for the day right out in front of them so they can quickly locate your info and get you checked in for the day. The room was somewhat clean. There was left over food in the microwave. The fridge could have been a little colder. It was already turned up to the max. Otherwise, my guest and I were happy with the room, staff, and enjoyed our stay. January 2, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Great staff We had a mixup in the reservations (our fault) and the receptionist at the desk was very helpful and kind solving our delima. Everyone on the staff was polite and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good and the 24 hour coffee service was great. I will always stay at the Holiday Inn Express when I visit Covington and I will look to stay at a Holiday Inn Express when I visit other areas. My experience in Covington has made me a Holiday Inn Express customer. November 17, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by staff I always enjoy staying at this property in Covington and stay there when working in the area. I especially appreciate Mitch and the lady who makes breakfast. I get up early and they always have fresh coffee brewed and waiting for me. Mitch personifies service excellence. I don't know how, after being up all night, he can be so nice and helpful to guests.
