Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by great room A nice clean hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are modern with good facilities and comfortable beds. I did not use the dining facilities during this stay, but the bar was a nice place to relax in. The only downside came from the inconsideration of other guests, who were noisy when departing very early in the morning. November 13, 2014

However, when I Arrived for breakfast and gave the staff my room number I was told that I had no breakfast allowance. She rang the reception and than again said there was no allowance. I went to the reception and the member of staff again stated that there was no allowance. I asked her to check again, and she found the paperwork for the booking and confirmed the allowance. It's a minor thing but very irritating when this happens. That being said, when I checked out the receptionist stated that I had no evening meal allowance and again I had to tell her to check the paperwork! One other issue, when I was having my breakfast I had not finished and found my coffee was taken away whilst I was waiting for my toast to cook. The staff were pleasant about it when I complained but it did aggravate my mood slightly. Apart from that it was very nice. November 11, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Enjoyable Hotel and Relaxing This has to be one of the best hotels I have stayed at, staff on the front desk, friendly and helpful. Rooms are big, bed is very comfortable, its very quiet and noise from nearby motorway you cant really, the airplanes can be heard but this doesn't ruin it. Room has big tv and freeview channels. Walk to the nearest shop is around 15 to 20 minutes, local buses take you into Crawley. Nearest Railway station is Three Bridges, taxi cost around £6 from there or around £10 - £15 to Gatwick Airport. If you want to stay near Gatwick AIrport and want to avoid the noise the airplanes then this is the place to stay. There is a restaurant on site, this is quality food at good prices. October 28, 2014

We knew that the return flight times were going to be late and we choose to spend a night in the hotel before completing our journey home the following day. It was a good decision: we enjoyed a smooth transition to the hotel by pre-arranged taxi. Check in was easy and we managed to relax with a drink in the bar before retiring for a lovely restful nights sleep in a great bed. Breakfast was superb, and our car was waiting for us just outside the hotel front door. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed the Holiday Inn London Gatwick - Worth experience and would not hesitate to repeat it on future holidays. October 8, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Noise from Above We stay in the Gatwick area approximately 4 to 5 times a year visiting family, usually staying at the Holiday Inn Povey Cross. We also use Holiday Inns throughout the world, always very pleased with our stays. Decided to try the Holiday Inn Worth staying for 3 nights in October 2014. We found the staff very helpful and were delighted with the cleanliness and size of the room. The first night we visited the bar area for a nightcap but retreated back to the room to escape the strong smell of greasy food in the bar area. The first night we were awoken by guests in the room above checking out at 4.00 am as there is very little noise insulation, whilst the second night different guests in the room above were checking out from between 3.00 am - 4.00 am, we could even hear there alarm. The noise was not just restricted to guests as we could hear the maids when they were cleaning the room. They were not particularly noisy just moving about the room but without adequate sound insulation between the floors, every sound could be heard. Obviously we are not the first to highlight this issue as on check out we were advised to ask for rooms on the upper floor if we stay again. Car parking is provided on site, however, as the car park is predominately full of long stay parking, finding a space in the car park on two of our nights stay was impossible. Had to park on the service road. We also found the quality and choice of breakfast was poor, not the usual standard we find at Holiday Inns. All in all a disappointing stay and will be returning to the Holiday Inn at Povey Cross on our next visit in November 2014. October 7, 2014

The fronts of house staff are amazing, very friendly, helpful and courteous and this especially applies to Disna and Emily who truly are a great asset to this business. The menu has recently been update and the food tastes amazing with very good service. Meeting rooms here are bright comfortable and the conference side from previous experiences are great and can never do enough to help during any meetings held here Other HI hotels can learn a lot from the team here October 2, 2014
