Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Fantastic Hotel My boyfriend and I have stayed at almost all of the hotels in the Cross Lanes area and this one is BY FAR the best! It is new, so everything is very nice, the room is very clean, the bed and pillows are comfortable, the staff is very friendly, and you can't hear people talking through the walls all night (big plus). I definitely recommend this hotel (I have stayed in all room types offered and none are bad). April 4, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Who Designed the Bathroom? Nice hotel. Has that new feel to it still. Clean room, comfortable bed But the bathroom. I do not like looking at myself in the mirror while sitting on the toilet; the shower head is below the top of my head; and the sink is sitting on top of the cabinet, so high off the ground that my wife needs a step stool to use it. Looks pretty, but does not function. April 2, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wonderful Stay Love staying at this hotel. I recommend this hotel to any of my co- workers that travel to the area. Very reasonably priced and the staff goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is perfect. They provide a lot of fun activities to do while staying such as free beer receptions, fresh popcorn and nachos. I was even told they will be having corn hole soon! Can't wait to come back! We travel all over the world staying in a hotel more than home and here is so much like home--we are treated with the utmost care and concern! Even when I call prior to arrival--everyone on staff are very caring--- Also, the places to eat dinner or lunch are easy to get to as well-- So again, if you are traveling through town the only place to stay is here! My husband and I were jet lagged (13 hour time difference from China) and we were awake at 3am. We came down to the lobby to not wake our kids and the Night Auditor was kind enough to brew us coffee, get us the paper and light the fireplace so we could relax without waking up the family. Talk about going above and beyond she put a tray of cinnamon rolls, Danish and english muffins out as well so we could eat something at 3:30am. When the food service team member showed up she continued the excellent service making sure we had everything we needed. With that level of service we will always stay there when traveling through. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Horrible Maid Service I have spent six nights at this hotel in the last month, three on two different occasions. Despite talking with the staff and management, my room was skipped everyday, except the last day, by housekeeping. On two of the days, the maids actually put a note under my door saying that my room wouldn't be cleaned because I had a Do Not Disturb sign on my door. When I asked about these notes, the front desk was confused, especially since the maid marked my room as "cleaned." The people I spoke with were always very nice and very understanding. That didn't get my room cleaned though. December 30, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Impressed; some details to note Was incredibly impressed by the hotel's ambience, desk & housekeeping staff, cleanliness, ammenties including the store, size of fridge w/freezer, and the nice warm pool; the pancake machine is awesome; breakfast hostess could be more relaxed and interact with guests (i.e. 'good morning", "have a nice day", "if you need anything my name is XXX" and then put a tip jar out for the breakfast staff. A couple of notes: the room heater just kept running even though it was on auto, set at 75 & read 75; there was no hair dryer in the room #although staff promptly brought one to the room when called; is there a room cleaning inventroy list?#; the shower curtain bar needs tightened--it was turned when we got into the room with the curve downward and the shower curtain wouldn't stay closed; the sink is lovely but younger kids can't reach it for use at all #when advertising for family use, the facility nees to be accessible to all family members, maybe in the suites a lower bar sink needs to be added#. Someone on staff should have gone outside and shoveled the snow out of the lot; it was a mess. I would stay there again and recommend the hotel for its overall quality. December 12, 2013

Seth was wonderful at the front counter....so helpful, cheerful, and great personality. Very knowledgeable. Recommended three great places to eat...we chose his favorite Fat Pattys and it was wonderful!!! Great rooms...super clean...wonderful beds!!! We would totally stay there again or recommend it to Family and Friends. December 9, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Overnight Stop After a Very Long Drive! I stayed here while driving a rental truck full of family belongings from northern Indiana to North Carolina. After 11 hours on the road, Seth at the front desk was friendly and helpful, made sure I knew when breakfast was, and the room was comfortable as can be. Highly recommend. November 29, 2013

Check in was quick, staff was friendly& the room was clean. The room had a few dishes & silverware, so we were able to heat up a snack in the microwave. Loved the layout of the room with a second sink by the microwave, wish they were all this nice! November 19, 2013

Large rooms. It is a bit hard to find, but I called and they gave me very clear directions. The sinks look great, but not sure how practical there are. November 13, 2013

Had to call and get directions. Other than that, our stay was great. Staff very pleasant and courteous. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful. Will stay here again if the situation arises. I would recommend something be done about the lose power outlets, the shower head is lose and the sinks--they may look good in a demo but they are not good in a hotel room--- otherwise a super place to stay!!! I relayed this the clerk on duty the next morning and didn't even get a I'm sorry you had a bad night, is there anything we can do to make it up to you, NOTHING. Won't stay here again because of this . If you like hard beds then this is the place for you to stay. October 28, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointed Very hard to find - got off exit 47 from I64 using directions given on hotel website - the street address that prints at the bottom of the directions page is not the right address - it is actually an address in a residential neighborhood on the other side of the interstate on Maple St. Could see hotel from the interstate but could not get to it - finally got off exit 50 and backtracked up the hill and found it. Arrived on Sunday at approximately 5:00 p.m. - no recognition for being a Priority Club Member at check in - the man just signed me in and hurried me off. The last time they had a wheel that you would spin for a gift. It was not much, candy bar, bottle of water, bag of chips, but it was nice to be recognized as a club member. The next morning at breakfast I asked for regular sugar and was told that they were out "until the truck comes in" I think she said the truck would be in on Tue. WHAT, no sugar until Tuesday???? You could not go to Kroger and buy some sugar until the supplies arrived?? This was unacceptable. The items available for breakfast were very limited. If you don't eat bread type items there was little else to eat. Room was very clean but it was very hard to control the temperature. It was very warm outside in the day but got quite cool at night. Turned the temp down but the blower ran constantly throwing out cold air. Turned the temp. control higher but it kept putting out cold air. Finally just turned it off for 30 minutes then turned on heat and it was a little warmer but blower ran constantly with cold air. I stayed here when they first opened and it was an enjoyable stay - apparently, things have changed quite a bit since then - the staff does not seem to care about the people who are staying in their hotel. Looks like I will be checking out the "other" hotel that is just up the road October 27, 2013

I pointed it out to the check in clerk and the situation was remedied satisfactorily. This was the second time for this happening. I.remain loyal to the brand based on my perks for maintaining status and if this is the new normal with IHG Rewards I may have to consider another chain. October 21, 2013
