Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Crossville TN Stop We were traveling from Little Rock to Charlotte. Crossville's Holiday Inn Express was a good location to stop, eat and sleep. We arrived about 6:00 PM or so and we were hungry. We asked about pizza delivery at the front desk and they recommended GG's Pizza. It was wonderful. If you stay in Crossville be sure to treat yourself to GG's. We consistently use Holiday Inn Express hotels and this one met our expectations. Their occupancy was close to full and the door closing in the hallway did wake us up a time or two. Overall our stay was good. May 28, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great stay We had a very restful stay in our king suite. Loved the fact that you had 2 types of pillows, firm and soft , and had them labeled as such. Loved the sitting area when family came to our room. Breakfast was good, especially the cinnamon rolls. One thing that could improve breakfast would be more flavorful coffee. Will definitely use Holiday Inn Express again. May 26, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Overall This place was awful. When we checked in we had to pay an extra $10.00 per extra person. Never before did we have to do this. Staff was not friendly. When we left at 6:00am there was no one working the desk. We just left our keys and left. I travel this area and will never stay there again. No Holiday Inn or Holidy Inn Express has ever been this bad. February 24, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Did Not Meet Expectations as a Holiday Inn Overall, my experience at the hotel was less than average. It was overpriced for the room compared to other hotels. The room was clean, but looked dated (with the exeption of the flat screen tv). The window was next to a parking lot light, and the blinds did not shut out the light. It looked like it was morning all night. There was about a 1.5 inch gap under the main door that let in light and noise. I could see shadows walking by our room and could hear the employees conversations clearly and felt a lack of privacy. This plus the overly firm, uncomfortable bed led to a sleepless night. Also, I did not have good WiFi service in the room. I borrowed an Ethernet cord from the front desk, only to learn that there were no Ethernet ports in the room. There were two telephone jacks. On a good note, the employees were welcoming and helpful, and the breakfast and coffee were good after a sleepless night. The hotel could be better with a few changes, but until then I don't plan to stay here again. Note: Did not visit the laundry, fitness room or pool. February 5, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Bed was uncomfortable and happen to have no phone service Our room had 2 phones, no phone service at all. Was unable to connect to WI FI and was told to turn off device and retry. Did not work. Night shift person came to room to check the problems and he did resolve the WI FI issue, but however no phone service in room the stay. They did deduct some from the bill. No ice machine on the floor, had to search and find one a floor up. Had to use cell phone to call the front desk each time. Bed was very uncomfortable. January 15, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by best holiday inn express we have been to We traveled for eight days through eight states for a funeral, baby shower, Christmas, and job relocation consideration with three small children in tow. This was one of 5 hotels we stayed in on this trip and was hands down the best. Friendly staff. Decent Breakfast. Comfortable room. If we travel through there again we will purposely plan on making that over overnight stopping point. Thanks for a good experience! January 1, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by "Upgraded "to less desirable room When I checked in, I was told I was upgraded to a suite. True, but I got 2 Queen beds when I wanted one King, The sofa was hard as a rock. There was no work desk with an ergo chair, just a round table with two dinner chairs. Not enough room to work on. The TV remote quit working mostly. Would turn on and off and adjust volume but could not change channels. Not up to my expectations at Holiday Inn Express. November 12, 2013

I was disappointed that the breakfast did not have the choice of real butter. All they had was a margarine spread which I do not use because it clogs your arteries. Also, the orange juice was obviously not 100% real juice. It tasted like juice that had been watered down. Would appreciate some healthier options like whole grain muffins, etc. Overall our experience was great, though, and I would recommend this hotel. October 31, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Quick overniter We were just in for one night but were very pleased with the suite we had. The room was clean and had many nice amenities even if we didn't need their use this trip. The shower had excellent pressure and a nice shower head spray. My only complaint would be that the curtains obstruct the air flow of the air conditioner causing poor circulation in the room. I used a pair of shoes to keep the curtains against the window and out of the way. Overall, it was a pleasant stay. October 16, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Our Best Stay - EVER ! It would be unfair for us to try to evaluate perfection. The room was extremely clean, smelled fresh, bed was firm yet soft, slept like a baby, bathroom was roomy and spotless, loads of towels, and hotel was carpeted throughout. No noise! Plenty of parking, close to interstate and centrally located. Continental Breakfast was the best I have ever had. Coffee was delicious, great selection of foods/fruit/rolls/pasteries etc. I was impressed with the selection and it tasted good. Everything was fresh. Final Evaluation: On a scale of 1 to 100 with 100 being the best, we evaluated our stay at 101. It was by far the best and nicest stay my wife and I have ever had at any hotel - ever!
