Our welcome at reception was friendly, genuine and appreciative of our business. Great service. Excellent directions and recommendations for dinner. Our room was as totally clean and fresh. Very welcoming. Pillows were great. The bed seemed a touch firm but we slept as good as ever. The breakfast was tremendous. We saw some comments about there only being a very basic breakfast. This is not true. The variety was super and the service was even better. We had a very comfortable stay and departed refreshed and excited for the day ahead. November 18, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Home away from home We travel from the Canadian border in Vermont to Culpeper to watch our grandson play high school sports. We liked the hotel so much we became club members. This particular HIE feels like home and although there are MANY hotels in the Culpeper area we won't stay anywhere else. The online booking, comfortable common areas, clean and up to date rooms and friendly staff makes this our go to home away from home. November 7, 2014

The bed was the best I have ever had in a hotel and I have been on the road 19 weeks this year. The room was spotless. Everything worked the way it was designed. Access to the highway, town and my place of business was excellent. The Negative: As much as I travel, I have learned to live with self service breakfast offerings, but the first morning experience made mediocre seem good. I must say, the second morning was much better, but the initial experience was enough for me to write. November 1, 2014
