Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good Hotel/Bad Room Carpet The hotel experience was overall popular; the only negative would be the room's wall to wall rubber like carpet, which was a turnoff. Made sure I did not have bare feet. There was a bit of room noise, but not enough to be disturbing. Because there is no competition in the area, the room rates are considered quite high - can get a top quality hotel room in New Orleans for our "corporate" rate. All in all it was a positive experience. June 2, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Could be better Newer hotel. Clean. Helpful staff. Issues: -No water pressure. Never has had any and there seems to be no effort to raise it. -Walls are paper thin. Hopefully your neighbors don't watch TV all night and no one is talking in the halls. Each door that shuts wakes you up. -My last stay, the carpet in my room was sticky. I am not sure what was on it. Someone must have worn work boots in the room. - I was told I would not be able to stay there again, unless I had a credit card. Do they not accept cash anymore? I don't watch the TV or purchase anything and don't want to give my credit card out. April 14, 2014

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Poor Accomodations I stayed at this hotel in Galliano, LA on March 3, 2014. I had to get moved to 3 different rooms until I found one that had a heater that worked. It was below 40 degrees at the time and rainy. The manager at the time, however, was as accomodating as she could be and was respectful and polite. I was extrememly disappointed to stay here. I have also stayed here at a previous time where the water would not get warm. I couldn't have a nice shower. My co-worker also stayed here, as this was a business stay. He, also, had to get moved to another room because his heater did not work in the room he was given. This hotel has very poor accomodations from my experience. Maintenance needs to be more of a priority at this location. March 11, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Fried AC, Maids at dawn and nuked breakfast After checking into the room, my daughter felt cold. So she moved the AC form Cold to heat. Almost instantly a horrific stench came out of the AC and set off the smoke alarm. As there was no vent that worked in the bath, the smell lingered until we checked out. Something in the unit must have burned up as the room never cooled adequately after this. We were there to go to a local festival and did not get back to the room until nearly 2:00 AM. At about 8:00 AM, a maid entered our room unexpectedly. This woke up myself, my wife and my daughter when we all just wanted to sleep in. You would think that the hotel would know when we check out and wait until then to send the maids to clean our room. The breakfast was cooked to death by the heat lamps, The meat was hard and curled and appeared to have been left outside in the sun. The rest of the items under the warmer were hard and dry and had not been kept fresh. October 2, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Second Stay Here Being my second return visit to the Holiday Inn in Cut Off, I was remembered and greeted very kindly. The staff there is exceptional, and I love that they have evening football parties, when there is a game on!! They provide food and drinks complementary to IHG members during the game, in the lobby/breakfast area which is very comfortable with a couch and plenty of tables and chairs. Also, for the football parties they change the food up so it's not alway's pizza, they had wings and wedges once, and the last one I went to had really nice healthy sandwiches, cherry tomatoes, and olives. This I especially liked because I like to eat healthy. The only suggestion I'd have for when they do have pizza or wings and wedges football night, it would be nice to have a healthy green salad on the side for those of use that like to watch what they eat ;-) I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Louisiana in the Galliano/Cut Off area because even though it may be a little expensive it is totally worth it!! Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Rude desk staff I made a reservation for two rooms via the Holiday Inn wireless app. When I arrived, they had four rooms in my name. Even though I had the email confirmation on my smart phone, their attitude was "well we wont charge to for the others but you must have made a mistake". Most hotels in the area serve breakfast early as most travelers are in the area on business related to the offshore oil/gas work out of Port Fourchon. When we asked about breakfast service they were again rude about the time offered only after 0630. I have stayed here a number of times but this will likely be my last despite my Priority Club membership. May 8, 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good loaction I stay at alot of Hoilday Inns and this one is one of the nices in its area. I stay at this location at least once a month and the staff is usually very freindly. The rooms are always very clean and taken well care of. All the other Hoilday Inns I stay at have a Priority Club line for the Gold members and usually a free bottle of water and a news paper in the morning at the very least except this one. Took 10 mins for me to get to the front of the line last time which doesnt sound bad but it take me 6 hrs to get here from my house so it seems like forever for me. The price is about 35% higher here than any other Hoilday I stay at and I get a company discount. For this price at least let the pizza guy bring my food to my room. Overall not a bad place to stay March 21, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very good choice if you go offshore on next day I use to stay in this hotel twice a month since 2010. It is new and I don't remember the day that I spent more than 3 minutes in fornt desk to check-in or check-out. The rooms are comfortable and if you don't need to leave the hotel before 06:30am the breakfast is free and quite good. The only problem is the drinking water. I've been asking them since 2010 to have more bottles available in the vending machine, but it seems that the demand is not being supplied. You have to go to the Wall Mart or to the Smoothie King, just beside the hotel to buy one. Overall, it is a very good choice. February 23, 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Not very many choices in Cut Off, LA This hotel is not very warm and inviting. I usually have to stay the night every couple of weeks here for work. I find the lobby dark. The staff is reasonably helpful. The price is exorbitant, I guess not having very many hotels in the area is contributes to that. They should at least have bottled drinking water in the rooms for that price. The last time I stayed there, there was not hot water in my room. October 22, 2012
