Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Awful- No concern for noise policy! The rooms were clean and I was initially impressed upon arriving. My issue was with the noise level and the way the staff handled our situation. There was a group of guys in the room next to us partying ALL NIGHT. At midnight, I had enough and called down to the front desk to complain about the noise. My young son was with us and we had heard literally every cuss word in the book yelled out. They reassured us that security would take care of it. Several minutes later I heard the security guard knock on the door, then someone opened it and said "COME ON IN, MAN!" to him and the security guard apparently joked with them saying "HANDS UP EVERYONE!" in which the room exploded with obnoxious laughter. Apparently he was their "buddy" so literally NOTHING was done to control the noise. I heard the security guard in there laughing and partying with them! At the very least we should have been given allowed a different room on a different floor. These guys partied until 3AM! We had to be up at 6am for my young son to go to Dallas Children's Hospital to be sedated for testing. I have never in my life dealt with a hotel that allowed such noise level, even after complaints. I could hear them THROUGH my earplugs. Also, the guys in the room were smoking in a nonsmoking room. I could smell the smoke through my door. Absolutely unacceptable and I will NEVER go back much less use ANY Holiday Inn Express ever again. After paying 100s of dollars for my stay here, I have a right to be able to get a decent amount of sleep and NOT have to hear obscenities yelled out all night, particularly with a young child in my presence. I understand this was not the hotel's fault, but they should take their noise policy a little more seriously and handle a customers complaint with more empathy. March 20, 2015

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by very disappointed in Holiday Inn Express room was not clean. hair on pillows,used Q tips under bathroom counter, used tissue and empty shampoo bottles. candy on floor by sofa. Staff did not have this problem fixed. Pool is unusable! 62 degrees. why even have a pool? Heating system did not work. terrible experience. March 18, 2015

Common areas of the hotel were not clean and old; while the room itself was fairly comfortable and clean the property seems to need an update. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not the best Hotel is located next to liquor store with transients walking around. I did not feel the safest. Also after 2 mornings of luke warm water in the shower and I checked out a day early. Also no coffee in the lobby at 6:00am, only in the dining area which didn't open up until 7:30 on Saturday. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating to all of our needs. We really appreciate having the shuttle to get back and forth to airport. Enjoyed breakfast every morning and the variety of the food. The room was updated and very comfortable. March 11, 2015

I don't write reviews normally but the way your staff went out of their way to help me out in a trying situation needs to be recognized. Like 100's of others I was stranded in Dallas yesterday due to the weather. DFW shut down so I booked a flight out of Love Field for today. Checking for room reservations, I saw that there were none available on the website but I figured I'd try my luck and call anyway. After explaining my situation to ERIC he said he would see what he could do and found a room (which I believe was offline due to just finishing maintenance) and held it for me. The room was ready upon my arrival and was very clean and comfortable. When I checked in I asked to make a shuttle reservation to the airport but it being Saturday, that service was not available. Eric did however make a taxi reservation for me at 8AM the next morning. After a good nights rest and a satisfying breakfast, I checked out just before eight and MIKE at the front desk knew about my taxi reservation and checked with the cab company to insure that the driver was on the way. Well it's a long story but someone else took my cab. There were very few cabs to be had due to the icy road conditions. MIKE through herculean efforts and 10 plus phone calls made sure that another cab was sent and I made my flight with time to spare. He didn't have to do this. Most other's would not have. Thank you so much! I'm safe and warm at home thanks to you! February 28, 2015
