But with a navigation system it isn't too difficult. I was really impressed with how nice and clean everything was and how nice the staff was. i am glad i stayed there. September 11, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Give it a shot!! I would definitely stay there again. The staff was friendly and helpful when needed. Everything was clean and well put together. The rooms are good sized, and very clean. The bed was VERY comfortable!!! If you are a hot sleeper though, you will be warm. It was nice to have the little refrigerator and microwave tucked away in there to save and heat up leftovers. We had a room with a king bed, and it was roomy enough for the both of us. Breakfast was good, and there was a nice variety, and well worth getting up for. The only two negative things I can say are that 1.) the little loveseat in the room was not up to par with the rest of the furnishings. You sit in it, and it feels like sitting in a hole, and 2.) out door didn't fit properly... but for goodness sake, do NOT let that sway you from staying here, as those are simply minor little things. I will be staying here again next year!! It is conveniently located and the people are great! The rooms aren't drab or dreary. Give it a shot!! September 11, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Staff Traveling alone can sometime get stressful in strange areas. The staff was wonderful!!! They were not only doing their job but went very much over and above their job to make guest feel very welcome! Put of all the hotels I've stayed in this staff tops them all. No doubt I would recommend this hotel to anyone traving in the Dallas area. If I ever get back to Dallas, I will only stay here. THANK YOU to all staff!!!!! I felt like I was family while there fir a week. I miss all the staff. September 10, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by as posted on yelp Just spent a horrible weekend at the Dallas East Holiday Inn..... First day no makeup of room and fresh towels + no iron.... Worse was the attitude of the desk clerk who said "that is housekeeping and not my job".... Later that night or actually 1:00 in the morning a group of 20 some people decided to party in the breakfast room not too far from our room....... A call to the desk clerk did not resolve the issue and the party continued until 2 a.m. even though the area can be seen from the front desk!!!...... The next day the room was made up but no fresh towels -- again..... After visiting the front desk it took more than an hour to get fresh towels and that was far too late before we had to leave for an engagement. ....... Upon checkout and being asked about our visit we were offered an apology for the problems and promised "points" toward a future stay -- like I would want to go back there again...... That is not going to happen..... And did I say the walls are paper thin?...... Bad service and bad attitude....!!! September 4, 2014

The front office Manager was amazing in her greeting and making you feel welcome and showed such gratitude for our stay with Holiday Inn Express and Suites Dallas East-Fair Park. Our pull out couch, which I needed for two kids was extremely small. It was also broken and I had to place chairs and cushions under the matress so my kids didnt fall through to the floor. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent facility We have been staying at HI for many years when we travel for business as well as pleasure. This is one of the best facilities all around. It is in a less desirable neighborhood in Dallas, but the parking lot is well lighted and we felt very safe. The facility is well kept inside and out. The staff is friendly and very accommodating. The breakfast was outstanding, especially the fresh cinnamon rolls. The pool is cool and the hot tub very relaxing. This location is very convenient for our business needs in southeast Dallas. It is also easy to access other major highways in and around Dallas. We will return to this location on our next visit. August 30, 2014

Great information sheet for TV channels and good wifi reception. Business room very well equipped and well organized for plenty of room for business meetings if necessary. Great happy hour! Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Awesome!! The room was a nice size and the bed was pretty comfortable. The door had a half inch gap between it and the door jam so you could see out into the hall. Luckily we were the end room so nobody would walk by but it was kinda weird. I would still stay at this hotel again in the future. It was in a great location from everything we were there to do. 10 min from each thing and had great food options all around it. The staff was wonderful and VERY friendly. The pool was indoor which was nice but the water was cold. And the hot tub was bubbling. The bubbles were at least a foot high in it. Our overall experience was great and even our little puppy got to stay with us so we were happy about that. :) August 27, 2014

Unfortunately, I was unable to take advantage of the amenities due to my work schedule. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not a happy platinum member I recently stayed at this Dallas Holiday Inn and was very disappointed in my stay. I worked with James in sales to secure a meeting room and a few rooms for a business event for a week. Upon my employees arriving, there rooms were not ready for them even though I sent and verified they received the credit card authorization form well in advance. My guys had to use thei own credit cards to rent the room when that should not of occurred. The following day when they went in to start work, the meeting room was not set up and locked causing them to be late to start since they had to set up the room. Malissa, the manager at the time was great! She quickly worked to make things right for my team. Upon my arrival to the hotel, I met with James to discuss the issues and he pretty much blew me off as if nothing happened. Never did he apologize for dropping the ball, he only said he was sick that week as if that made things magically better. The amount of money I spend with IHG and time put in to booking this stay, they should of done a better job at managing this. Things happen but it's how we resolve that makes the difference. The last piece was a roach in my bathroom that was walking up and down the toilet. If your looking for a hotel in the Dallas area, there are others to book and stay in. I should know, I've stayed in several in DFW and this was the worst experience to date. Don't take my word, find out for yourself. August 16, 2014
