The workout room needs a lot of attention, and the hotel needs some renovating. I have returned many times due to the location, even though my stays have not been without some complaints. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great personnel from desk to great room breakfast to cleaning crew This hotel has been a great place to stay as we come to Dallas to see a medical specialist there. The staff, even when making a reservation, have been so helpful to the two of us in helping us find our way around the city. Since we must come back to Dallas now at least once a year we will always stay there and when we travel during the summer, we will be looking to stay at other Holiday Inn Express hotels because of the great experience we had here. The only thing I can think to improve my stay would be to have some lighting over the sofa in the room. I read a lot and did find it difficult to have enough light when sitting on the sofa. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointed Checked in, got my wakeup call time setup, went to the room and drew up a bath. The bath was disgusting and dirty! The thermostat didn't work very well. The room number was 405 but the phone was labeled 407. I asked for two wakeup calls and got none! Was given a "5000 point give away " card and told if I gave them a good review I could get 5k bonus rewards points....... too bad that was as far as this establishment went in the attempt to improve my stay......
