We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express at Preston in Dallas. We arrived early and needed to leave our luggage, as we needed to go to the hospital. We explained this to the young lady behind the desk, Vivian. She said that we could store our luggage until the room was ready later in the day. That evening while looking for the ice machine I ran into the Operations Manager, Brad. He asked my room number, and when I told him, and thanked him for letting us store our luggage, he inquired about our Grandson's open heart surgery. The next evening when we returned to our room we found a basket of cold drinks and snacks, and a note from Brad and the hotel staff letting us know that they were concerned and caring. We really appreciated the thoughtfulness of this gesture. We also encountered another young lady named Rita, who was so kind and thoughtful. These people are a splendid example of the type of culture of the Holiday Inn Express at Preston in Dallas. My wife and I will forever be singing the praises of both this location and of Holiday Inn Express to everyone we know and meet.

High Five to the cleaning crew! Room, bathroom, hallways, and furniture were very clean. Plus, cleaning crew were friendly. Bed was COMFORTABLE!
Suggestion: More ice machines. It would be nice to have ice machines on each floor.

Very Clean Hotel. Pool was cold. Windows did not have full curtains so you could see in at night and sun came in during the morning.

I stay in DFW area regularly and have stayed at this property in the past. I have had some issues in the past but agreed to give it another shot. They have stepped up their game and made this property very comfortable to stay in. It is conveniently located for several things but this visit was for a doctors visit at W B Carrell Clinic. The clinic is only about 6 mins from the hotel. I enjoyed my stay and was happy with most everything. This property has a 11 am check out versus noon for most other HIE properties.

Upon arriving there were no clean rooms. We are platinum members. Vivian was very nice but did not offer to get a room cleaned soon so that we could check in. It was close to noon. She told us we were already check in to room 401 and she would call. Never received call. Getting back around 5:00 she was not there but we were then given room 406. Not the type of room we are used to purchasing from them. No room for us and 5 yr old. Nothing to sit in but an office chair. No refrigerator, no microwave, bath mirrors were not lighted well, We were told there wer no other options for us. (platinum members). The brought a refrigerator for us but not much room to put one. Power went off 3rd day and once again, we had no other options. Ants crawling in the room. Terrible experience.
