We have been staying at the Holiday Inn Express Dalton since it opened, our first visit being at 1 week open. Dalton is the halfway point from Chicago to our family's house in Florida and we have always stopped in Dalton. We used to stay at any one of the hotels at the exit, but now we only stay at the HIE. It is always a wonderful experience. Rooms are clean and comfortable, breakfast is always fresh and plentiful, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. I would not recommend going to the chain restaurant that is next door as the service and cleanliness is very poor, as is the food.

The property was clean and room was much larger than expected. I was disappointed that the staff at the desk upon check-in could not tell us how far the trip was to Atlanta or when traffic was expected to be worst in the city.

As a clean freak and minimalist, I am very comfortable at this hotel. The rooms are super clean and efficient. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The surroundings are very modern and welcoming. I work in that area every couple of months and since I found this hotel, I haven't even felt the need to experiment with others. For as long as their standards of cleaning don't change, I don't have a need to change hotels.

The entire hotel was spotless! Breakfast was filling and lots of great choices. Night desk clerk was an older lady who was the sweetest thing! I woke at 4am and went downstairs so not to disturb my husband. This lady made me feel so welcome and answered all my questions about the area since it was my first time in the area. Comfortable beds and quiet atmosphere made for 2 wonderful nights in Dalton. We will be staying here again when in the area. Thanks Holiday Inn Express-Dalton for making our weekend a great one.

This might be the nicest Express Hotel I've ever stayed at. It was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was good. The layout of this hotel is better than most too, with a front and back entrance to the atrium. Very good experience.

They stay we had was very nice. The room was very comfortable. The staff and service was nice. The only thing I would recommend changing is the breakfast. I do not care for fake eggs or fake gravy for the biscuits. This is just my opinion..

Our room was spacious and being on the first floor was a great advantage for us. The pool was inviting but unfortunately did not have our swimming suits in our over night suitcase.
Will definitely make the Holiday Inn Express Dalton a stop next year on our journey to Florida

We were travelling back from Florida and stayed one night at the HIE and we were pleased with the service and we were able to relax after a long drive north.

Even though it took me a minute to figure it out, all I had to do was wave my card in front of the sensor on the door. The shower was huge with a top of the line nozzle spray and I love the sliding doors! The temperature was true to the setting numbers on the air conditioner and I never had to change it. The bed was super comfortable and I actually slept through until morning which is something I never do on the road. The breakfast buffet was wonderful and had a few more options that you normally expect for a continental breakfast bar. This one also made pancakes, the first pancake machine I've seen on the road :) I prefer them to waffles...My daughter lives in Florida and on my next trip I definitely plan to stay again at the Dalton Holiday Inn Express! I also have never been greeted so nice and sincerely than I was by the woman who checked me in on Sunday night. I didn't have my club member card with me and she took care of everything, with a smile!

Traveling from Chicago to Florida -- about 1/2 way stop. Beautifully designed room -- we especially liked the bathroom -- going to remodel ours similarly. Staff very helpful and friendly, the entire facility clean and comfortable, good work out area for aerobics. We are converts from Fraifield and Hamptons, my wife now prefers Holiday Inn Express. After a few years' worth of ads saying how good they are, this is our second try and we're convinced............

After a long drive, we stopped in Dalton. Beautiful lobby, nice personnel at desk. Our room was clean and we felt safe. The pool looked very inviting but we didn't bring in our suits :( Hope to stop in again on our way back home in the Spring.

I very regularly stay in Holiday Inn Express Hotels. This one was very different than all that I've seen. Very modern, almost a Euro feel. More like Hotel Indigo, but nicer. Very new feeling. Very clean. The breakfast is like ALL HI Express breakfasts. That's the only part that is stale. I will be sure to stay at this location when I'm in the area again.

We used this hotel as a stop on our way to Florida from Illinois and then again on the way home. The location and access were perfect for our travel needs. We almost always look for the Holiday Inn brands when traveling, and the quality of this hotel was what we've come to expect.

This is one of the nicest HI Express properties I've stayed in. It's a little hard to find, as it's behind the Holiday Inn and the two properties are usually not located close to one another. It's finishes are modern, sleek, and clean and the walk in shower was great.
Highly recommended to avoid the higher rates in Atlanta. It's an hour north and worth the extra drive if you're coming from Florida.

On a road trip from Wisconsin back to Florida, the usual twice a year thing. Stopped in Dalton after 15 hours of driving for a short rest. Check in staff was good as usaual. Got up early am and when we got into the lobby at 5:40am was told by the night shift lady that the coffee that was out was from the morning prior and that she did not get aroud to making any. Really!! I know breakfeast starts at 6:00 am but at 5:40am, no FRESH Coffee

We were traveling from Tampa to St. Louis and Dalton was just about the half way point. I cannot say enough about how excellent our room was. Very modern (shades vs. curtains - love it!), new, clean, and comfortable. The lobby is gorgeous. The staff friendly and helpful. We had driven all day in traffic and the idea of being able to relax in a heated pool was very appealing (and it was actually heated - the last hotel we stayed at that had an indoor "heated" pool - was such a disappointment). There are several places close by to eat (Chili's, Cracker Barrel, etc) and the bed - so comfortable. TV channel selection was excellent as well. The next time we drive through - we will stop by at this place again!
