We were pleasantly surprised to find this great Holiday Inn Express in Dalton, Ga. It is a very nice hotel with great amenities. We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay and would recommend it to everyone. June 22, 2016

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice accommodations Stayed there twice now. Very nice, a little high on the price range, but they include a free breakfast. Staff was professional, room was nice and clean. Only problem was that the our discount was not applied to our bill and when promised that we would get a corrected bill through email (and told our credit card account would be corrected) we were disappointed that we've not received such an email and am assuming that the credit card has not been credited as well. All in all, we would most likely stay there again. June 19, 2016

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Smokers Be ware at Dalton Holiday Inn I was at this location in March. I cleaned out the trash in my car including an ash tray from my car. I threw it away in the room trash receptacle. The ash tray had three cigarette butts in it. I dumped this in an Arbys Loaded Italian sandwich box and then put all trash in a arbys bag then took it in and threw it away in the room. I was tired from a trip and did not see any receptacles at the front entrance. The manager (Ms. S) billed me for smoking in the room. I called her later and told her I did not smoke in the room and would take a polygraph. She then said did you have a dog in the room? Of course I did not and it was obvious to me she was trying to find a way to make the charge stick. She then recanted her story about the odor and said the cleaning person saw a cigarette butt in the trash. I asked Mrs. S why did they dig in the trash to find butts, and no reply was given. I explained what happened and even told her that she could check the security camera to verify I smoked outside the side door to the hotel. She was rude, uncooperative and argumentative (not having her facts straight). I could stay there tomorrow with 6 other employees all of us having separate rooms. So, now she is loosing the money for 6 rooms just this one trip alone. The reason I say she is that I called Corporate and they explained that this was a franchise and they could not help, and did not seem to have any concern on loosing my statewide business moving forward. I guess I expected to be treated individually, but she explained (yall smokers) and put me in a collective stereotyped group. - BTW, The front check in clerks were super!! And the hotel was very clean and nice. Plenty of parking and great sense of security. Fast food places in walking distance. June 12, 2016
