Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Rooms are a bit tired The food for breakfast is good but the place needs an update. Paint was peeling in the bathroom and the mattress had a bit of a sag. The elevator is a bit slow. The staff was fine, but not overly welcoming. February 22, 2015

I had some work to do during the morning hours of the day I checked out so I worked in the room at the desk area. When it was time to check out, I continued my work in the lobby area until I was ready to leave and pickup my daughter who was testing at a local high school site. February 19, 2015

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Always use both locks on your door!! I recently stayed at the Danbury HI while travelling. I will not be going back,...ever! Someone had a key card to my room and tried to enter my room around midnite. Fortunately, the door bar held as the person (or persons) tried 3 times unsuccessfully to get in. I quickly turned on a light and looked out the peephole.....pocketknife in hand. No one was in the hall. When I called the desk to report it the clerk suggested it was another customer. You have got to be kidding!! No bags in the hall,....the people were gone in under 5 seconds,....when you try to open a door and you notice it is locked from the inside, one does not keep trying to open the door,..... forcefully. I believe it was an attempted break-in. I left my business card and asked for the manager to call me the next day,...still waiting on that call back. They had the gumption to ask me how my stay was when I checked out!!!! Very disappointed in Holiday Inn.........I would like them to explain to me how this could happen as keys are cleared daily. I do have to accept some responsibility here,...I did not have the deadbolt locked, just the door bar. My advice if you stay there,...use both door locks,...wish I had. February 1, 2015
