This was the last hotel stop on a long driving trip. It was our least favorite of the hotels we stayed in. Although we made the reservation well in advance and are a rewards member, we were given the room directly behind the elevator. Every time the elevator went up or down we had loud noise, all night long. In addition, the outdoor pool (located in the rear parking lot) was right outside our window. The room was clean and otherwise ok; however we got no sleep at all.

Check-in was flawless. The bed was uncomfortable but hotel was replacing the day we checked out...bad timing.

We had a great stay. The beds were brand new and extremely comfortable. The staff was very hospitable and the breakfast was delicious. Will definitely stay there again!

I wanted a clean, comfortable and safe place to stay for the night and the Holiday Inn Express fit the bill. It is quiet yet close to the highway for easy access. I checked out before breakfast was served (6:30 am) but there was fresh coffee ready to go.

We've stayed at more than a dozen Holiday Inn Expresses on our current road trip. But the front desk staff here is the very best we've encountered. They were friendly and helped us figure out how to take the train from Danbury to New York. The next day, they recognized us and asked how our visit to Manhattan went. They also helped when we had a problem getting the laundry machines to work. Most importantly, they were all (three or four different staff members) universally friendly. All hotel staff should use this hotel as role models.
