First room (with jacuzzi) had a hallway that reeked of smoke. I asked for a different room, they apologized and upgraded me to a LARGER jacuzzi room that was MUCH nicer..at no extra charge.. and zero smoke smell in that area. Darned if I know why any hotels allows smokers anymore anyway, but they'll take pains to ensure your happiness, no problem.

After a fourteen hour drive from Canada, we were very happy to check in to this hotel. One of the reasons is that there are no surprises. The quality of the accommodation is excellent. When we open the door to our room, we breathe a sigh of relief. We know that the quality of the resort is always consistent. We are travelling often now and will not stay with another chain, other than Holiday Inn Express.

This place need a serious makeover. Bad drywall repairs in bath and poor paint job in the room and bath. carpets in hall and room worn out.

Our first night was not very restful do to people jumping up-and-down on the room above us. Notified the staff downstairs and she was getting phone calls from other tenants at the same time. She indicated that she tried to call the room but was not getting any response. She prompted me to go knock on the door and see if I could get them to stop. I don't think that was very appropriate.
The floor in our room was partially sunken underneath the carpet as if there was a large crack that was repaired was starting to fall through. When we walked on the floor the whole room vibrated. We had to start walking softly so that we didn't disturb the people below us. We would have picked another motel for our three day stay but all other facilities were not vacant. Of all of the Holiday Inn Express' we have stayed at by far this would have to be our worst experience. The breakfast food taste was also substandard so much that we decided to eat at McDonald's the day that we left. I would normally never write a review but I felt led to this time. I will not be staying at this place again.

Stayed one night during a trip. Have marked this hotel to stay in again when in the area. Clean, friendly staff, and quiet. Signage from road could be better, drove past it the first time. There are good restaurants to eat at this exit which is also very nice.

All was OK at this hotel except the noise from other rooms and the hall all night long. Internet was great and the included breakfast was good.

After a 9 hour drive we chose this property because it was listed as pet friendly and I could use reward points. I thought the pet fee $35.00 was a little high but paid it. I expected to get a pet freindly room. That's how it is. But I still expect a quiet room. The room was OK, however it was right behind the elevator shaft. This room should not be used for guests at all. We had stopped early to relax but the noise from the elevator operation made for A less than enjoyable and relaxing stay. I think saying pet friendly should also be pet owner freindly.
