I did not like the way the receipt for our stay was delivered, It was pushed under the very large crack in the door at 3AM. The room over all was clean and comfortable. Needed a lap tray for the computer, and updated speed for internet. Staff needs to talk to and smile at people. would recommend to friends for honeymoon. January 1, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great interior corridor hotel with plush beds! We had a very good stay, close to family. Rooms and staff were great! The only thing that was a major concern was that people were slamming their doors during sleeping hours. (It almost seemed on purpose with force). It was quite disturbing as we were exhausted from driving 18 hours the day of arrival. It also happened other nights, too, just not as many times. I would definitely return.... I would just hope it would be quieter.... Also, with such a busy stay, I neglected to ask if my stay could be applied to my Rewards Card. If so, the number is 482 634 320. December 28, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Sweet upgrade; awesome room I am a Platinum IHG rewards club member, and upon arrival, we were told that the standard room we had booked had been upgraded to a king suite. When we got to the room, we were wowed at how large it was - it had a whole extra "living room" area, with an electric "fireplace", sofa, chairs. There was also a big jacuzzi tub in the bedroom area (which we did not use, but it looked nice). Everything was in great shape and clean; the wifi worked well, the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was the standard HI Express breakfast, and the area was kept clean and well-stocked. All of the staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. This was a great stay and I highly recommend this hotel. December 14, 2013

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Getting There I could tell the hotel had done a lot of improvements but they still have some work to do. Didn't receive recognition as IHG member. I stayed on third floor and it smelled like the ventilation system was pumping cigarette smoke into the hallway. The room didn't smell of smoke but that's because it was saturated with air freshner. The bath towel had stains that were what I'm assuming was from someone else's body. Hotel staff was more concerned with talking to themselves than acknowledging guests. Like I said I could tell the hotel had made significant improvements but they still have a way to go to be par with their peers. November 30, 2013

Unfortunately, we were there on a night when there were many, many kids booked also. They were constantly running up and down the hallways and around the lobby. The parents/chaperones didn't seem to mind. Perhaps the person/s on duty tried to quiet them - touchy situation. Not sure there was anything that could've been done. Otherwise, we were very pleased with the accommodations and would stop there again. November 29, 2013

We stayed both going north and coming south a week later and the second room was even better, with a fireplace and the jacuzzi tub. What a wonderful way to relax after a long day of driving. We were told our room was a non smoking room and it smelled like someone had just smoked 10 packs if cigarets. Just horrible. They wouldn't give us our money back or move us. This place is terrible. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Awesome experience My wife and I left Myrtle Beach for a long drive home and made a rewards reservation at the Danridge, TN Holiday Inn Express. We were supposed to arrive around 10 PM on Oct 5, but a traffic incident on the interstate held us up for 2 hours and we arrived around midnight. Tired and looking at another 8 hour drive home on Sunday Oct 6 . We needed a good nights rest and breakfast in the morning to get started for the long drive. I am a platium member of Holiday Inn and travel almost every week in a five state area and stay at a Holiday Inn. My wife and I both were surprised how quickly we were checked in late at night and we were given a room upgrade and were able to unwind, relax and rest. The room was more than we expected and although there was a sports team staying at your hotel, we were able to eat a good breakfast and get back on the road in great shape, thanks to your staff and hotel. Wish you were in my business area I would stay at your hotel. If we ever get back to this area we will book another stay at your hotel. Thanks for making our stay a relaxing and enjoyable even if it was for only short time. October 8, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by quiet and relaxing We could not have asked for more. We had read reviews on this hotel and were a little worried that it would be loud. It was not. This proves that the level of quiet is more dependent on the people staying at the hotel at the time of your stay. The beds were comfortable. It was quiet.... 45 players from a college football team were there at the same time of our stay (thank you to the coaches that must have had control or at least respect from the players). The breakfast was a wonderful variety and fresh. Our room was clean. The staff was helpful and pleasant. We will definitely stay there when we are in the area again. September 26, 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointed Having stayed in many Holiday Inn Express all over the US, I was disappointed in our first room, as well as, the room they moved us to. My "water walking" , a treatment for arthritis, went by the wayside when dirt balls were floating in the pool and the bottom looked like it had not been cleaned for several days. After experiencing the second room, I made the decision to be frank with the management in surveys. The reception staff did all they could do, they just did not have the available help to make it what I have learned to expect . September 6, 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Noisy but great breakfast and comfortable bed The bed was superbly comfortable and I would have been able to relax if it hadn't been so noisy on the hallway outside my room. People coming and going until almost 1 a.m. My traveling companion's room was on the other wing and she had noisy people in the hallway AND upstairs from her. Breakfast was great - even scrambled eggs. Too bad it was so noisy. August 8, 2013

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointing Experience I was disappointed that there were strands of dark hair scattered across the bathroom counter when I went into the room for the first time. The bedroom had a shabby appearance to it; the curtains were detached from the hardware and dragging on the floor. Finally, although there were signs posted asking guests to be quiet between 10:00 pm and 6:00 am, I was still awake at 1:30 am due to pounding footsteps overhead. The night clerk tried to resolve the problem at 1:00 am when I called the front desk, but the pounding continued. Not the hotel's fault, but this was just one more thing that contributed to a less than pleasant experience. August 2, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by First time going thru Tennessee Very happy with the room size and beds! They were super high and super comfortable. We also had enough room to set up my son's pak n play for the night. We did not try the outside pool, breakfast was fine but we have had more of a selection at other HI Express's we've stayed at. Easy to find off the exit and close to restaurants, gas stations, etc. we will stay again if we need to travel down 81. July 27, 2013
