Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Definitely Danville's Finest When my husband and I visited Danville, we stayed at the Holiday Inn Express and enjoyed our stay so much, we're sure to return here again when we return to Danville. The location was easy to find, was clean and well cared for inside and out, and the staff couldn't have been nicer and more professional. The only negative I experienced was with the bed - they're hard/firm and it caused me to toss and turn all night. My husband on the other hand loves hard beds and slept like a baby. So I can't complain too much. When we first checked in, the room we were given had a "slow toilet". As soon as we told the desk clerk, she quickly changed our room and was very apologetic. The breakfast eggs tasted as though they were powdered eggs but everything else on the menu was tasty and well presented. Overall the entire experience was enjoyable and made for a very nice visit in Danville. We highly recommend this establishment to anyone who's looking for a place to stay. April 15, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Staff very pleasant Staff very pleasant and very accommodating. Great location and traveling alone I felt safe. April 12, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by too costly Too costly for that area in Virginia where there are not many things to do especially when you are there for a specific University business event. April 9, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Decent place to overnight on business Generally a very comfortable stay. Internet performance was excellent. Decent breakfast bar. Heating unit was loud (like most unit room heaters are) and I didn't control properly from the wall mounted thermostat but the room temperature was comfortable. April 3, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Nice setting, decent Danville option I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Danville during a NASCAR weekend in March 2015. As business hotels go these days, the Holiday Inn Express Danville is average at best. Rooms are consistent with most HI Express hotels, clean & comfortable - and the staff was very friendly and helpful! I travel to many race weekends, and find that hotels typically raise the rates for the race crowd, but this hotel is strangely among the most expensive stays on my tour - and I stay in many MUCH nicer hotels for less money! But the options in Danville and Martinsville vicinity are few, so they can get away with charging more. I REALLY wish this hotel had its own fitness center! They do offer admission to a nearby gym, but I much prefer a workout facility in the hotel. Also, Holiday Inn Express breakfasts are among the worst of national hotel chains - and this HI Express is no exception. On a positive note, the hotel is located on the Dan River, and a very nice walking/jogging path is right out the back door. All told, I'd easily choose another hotel in Danville - IF a better option existed. But, this is the best I could find. April 2, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Would highly recommend We stayed there for 2 nights and we really could not find anything to complain about at this hotel. The rooms were very clean, courteous staff and good breakfast. The cookies and milk in the evening is a great idea. Bed was very comfortable with a nice pillow selection. Bathroom was clean and in good working order. Nice view of the river from our room. March 10, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great service Having traveled a lot I am familiar with great hotels and their service and poor service. This place was clean, seemed safe for my family, and had great customer service. Highly recommended March 9, 2015
