we met my mom & brother 1/2 way, to switch mom (85 year old), between our homes. we always get 2 rooms.... we decided to stay in Danville, at this hi express. its a great choice for us. the front desk staff is always welcoming when we arrive. we really enjoy the hot tub. its clean, plenty of towels, and great temperature. its a big part why we choose this hotel...the comfy beds are great! we love hi express, because having breakfast together before we leave, always starts our day off grand! plus, the ladies taking care of breakfast bar here, are very attentive & friendly, great job! we do notice renovations, and one of our rooms had been renovated/updated....so, we know next time we go back renovations will be complete. renovations are great! I also have to say, the hotel was quiet, so, workers, keep up the great quiet job on continuing to make this hotel the best!! thank you.... :) :) :) :)

We fell in love with Holiday Inn Express on our round-trip to Chicago from the Texas Gulf Coast. Room was clean, bathroom clean, shower was great with plenty of hot water, and the front desk was quite helpful the night we checked in. We needed directions to a particular store, and she not only told me how to get there but also printed directions and a map.

Very clean, comfortable temperature, comfortable bed, super pillows! Mostly quiet and restful night. Great breakfast as usual which is one of the reasons we stay at Holiday Inn Express!!

Given the hotel choices in Danville Illinois this one is by far the best choice. The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean, the breakfast is always great, and the hotel is located ideally off the freeway.
I have stayed at this property on more than one occasion and I am never disappointed.

I have stayed at this hotel previously and the stay was great and the stay this time was as well, except for check in the desk clerk was not knowledgeable on the the different rate structures nor was she understanding that as a platinum member i was entitled to an upgrade. The clerk kept trying to route me into the most expensive room rates.
Not happy about it and i do believe this was an employee understanding problem as just 4 days earlier i stayed at the same hotel and everything was fine.

I traveled to Danville a few times this year for business and each room I have stayed needs repair/preventive maintenance. The shower rod is coming out of the wall, water damage in the ceiling, wallpaper is coming down, etc.

Non smoking suite bathroom smells of smoke from the room upstairs. Ac unit on wall not responsive and did not work in the middle of the night. Floor uneven spots. Pool unheated. Good customer service. Breakfast is average to most holiday inns.

I was in need of a room while driving to Colorado from West Virginia. Stopped in at your front desk, without a reservation, where upon your very friendly and professional front desk clerk arranged a room and filled me in on breakfast time and standard procedures. The mature lady clerk was very efficient and professional considering she had to deal with three others that were in similar circumstances as myself.

The handicap bars in the bathroom were in all the right places.
Most hotels do a haphazard job of making bathrooms safe.
Someone thought about this issue. I was able to help my
husband, a stroke survivor, take a shower without a problem

Beds comfortable, breakfast good, and front desk staff good.
My room was cleaned after the first night, but did not give coffee refill and bag for ice bucket. My room was not cleaned at all after
the second night.

This location was good for us because we have relatives in the next town over----Covington Indiana. It made it easy to come and go. Of all the hotels/Motels in this area, This is by far the nicest. The staff were all very friendly, and the breakfast was yummy. Thanks for a great stay.

Hotel was nice and clean. Only issue is with the wireless in the hotel. Did not work well at all and then went to used wired internet socket in wall and it did not work either.

The bed could use padding, the bed is very unconvertible,, Neither one of us could sleep,, carpet in the lodge area needs to be replaced as well as the Chairs because of the STAINS,
STAINS that can be seen when the lights are dim,,, is a clue to replace something,,,

Reserved a non smoking room, but they have me a smoking room minus the ashtrays, but not the ashes. The floor smelled and the room smelled. The front desk person was rude, the breakfast lady was rude and the maid was rude. Will NEVER stay in another Holiday Inn Express!

Enjoyed my stay here for 4 nights. The room was clean, service was excellent on all aspects, bed was comfortable. Some people have complained about the railroad tracks being so close. After I read reviews before my stay, I was expecting the RR tracks to be right next to the hotel, which is not the case. They are actually a little ways away and train noise was not a problem for me. Any noise from any train that went by was certainly not enough to keep me awake and the track is used very little. I would stay here again. The only negative was a large sticky spot on the carpet in the main walk area. Other than that, stay was excellent!

The motel, itself, was OK, but there was someone above us who walked around considerably and talked to a woman consistently. That's to be expected; however, the noise should not carry to other rooms.

I originally booked two nights for myself and a coworker. After the first night, we went out to complete our jobs. I found out that I did not need to stay the second night, my coworker was spending the second night. I phoned the hotel before 1 pm and informed them that I was going to check out after just one night, my things were in the hotel room, but I would be back before 3 pm to check out. I told them I understood if they needed to charge a late check out fee.
Instead of a late check out fee, they stated that I had to pay for the second night's stay. I didn't argue, but since I have stayed at IHG hotels for more than 40 nights in less than 12 months, I thought I would get some consideration.
All I can say in conclusion, there are lots of other choices!

I have stayed here before. when i come to danville to work it is usually for a week or more. after checking in and.getting.to my room i noticed i did not have.any internet on labtop or phone. then the cable and phones went out as well. the front desk clerk was trying to get resolved. so i go to hot tub and pool. got into hot tub and ot would not work so i contacted desk again we both went and looked. she told me that it has been that way for over a week. irg. So there i was no internet, no phones, no cable. due to my job having a internet source and phones are requored. i had to check out 6 days early only staying one night. not a.pleasing stay at all.

Joanie and Amber were great. I never saw/dealt with the day staff. I gave the Staff and Service an average because of Nick and Ryan. Nick was more worried about talking to his friends than staying behind the counter and answering questions. Also, his choices for tv programs were questionable.
Nick and Ryan Do Not Have breakfast ready by 6:30am. I had to leave and go to work by 6:45am and would never be able to eat when those two were working. Amber always had it ready by 6:30am usually 6:15am. The rooms were clean and comfortable. However, there were times when something was left in my room (i.e. rags, cleaners, etc.).

The hotel was newer and in good condition. Rooms were clean and they had a decent breakfast. I stayed 4 nights and was awakened on 2 separate occasions by noises from the rooms around me. So they could use better sound proofing.
