A member of our party was ill and needed to remain in the room and we made arangements for a late checkout via the front desk NLT 1230. At 1045, regular checkout was at 1100, housekeeping started pounding on our door and demanding we leave. We explained we had made contact w/ the front desk and had this approved. The rude maid said she knew nothing a/b it and demanded my ill 17 yo daughted vacate the room (My wife and I had gone to pick up my other daughter at a nearby Summer Camp). My ill daughter was very frightened and dismayed by this occurance! When I complained to the front desk they said the night manager had not passed it on. Rule #1 in the hospitality business - Don't let your staff problems and poor inter-office communications become the guest's problems. Epic fail on this account Holiday Inn Mobile.

I have stayed at this hotel back in March of 2012, the experience then was outstanding, so when I check out back in 2012 i told them the next time i come to Mobile, AL i was staying there again, which is what i did. it was great seeing some of the same staff and they remembered me. My stay there was more than outstanding, even though i had a very complicated reservation, the staff made my stay very comfortable with zero stress.

I am a frequent traveler and have stayed at this location several times over the past few years. Upon my last visit the staff welcomed me back and mentioned that they recognized me from my last stay. The hotel is always clean and the service is consistent. The staff is prompt with requests but they are left alone to handle the desk and guests requests. I would give this location an excellent if upper management would have another employee on to cover the desk if the guest had a request that would take them away from the front desk. Also, each room should have a microwave and they do not.

Very nice property. Probably the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed at. Staff was very well trained and polite. Made sure to make us feel welcomed. The bartender was hilarious.

When travelling, we just assume that all HIE have free continental breakfast and it makes the cost of the room more of a value when you don't have to go out for breakfast. When we got up and went down for breakfast, we were told that we would have to buy it from the restaurant in the hotel it was not free. This is the first time this has ever happened to us. So, when planning your Holiday Inn stay, check to see if the location offers free breakfast. Don't assume.

Was able to stay on two different occasions within a one-month period. The staff is very friendly and most helpful; made sure you knew they were glad you chose their hotel. Extremely clean and comfortable rooms. Very comfortable and lovely lobby. I highly recommend the Holiday Inn/Airport in Mobile, AL.

Drove in from Mobile AL and arrived late in afternoon. Would have liked to use the jacuzzi but the blowers (jets) were grungy and we opted for a shower instead. Should have a scheduled maintenance for something like that. I'm sure the maids would not be able to handle a task like that. The vent on the outside of the jacuzzi was very rusty and although it did't affect anything, it didn't add to the perception of the bathroom area. (323) Other than that, the stay was enjoyable and the staff was great.

The hotel is probably one of the newest in the Springhill area and by far the nicest. The hotel iteself is beautiful inside and the rooms are great. The staff was very helpful while we stayed there and even brought us a baby bed to our room at 1:00 a.m. so that my son could be more comfortable. The only two things that I did not like about the stay was (and these are so insignificant) that the pillows in the room are about the size of a throw pillow so you probably want to bring you own and in the morning when the cleaning staff are coming through to clean, they are VERY loud and it echos through the hallways of the hotel and into your room. So, if you want to sleep in, get ear plugs :) Otherwise, a fantastic place to stay.

This was a very nice hotel with a great staff. Server in the restaurant was quick and friendly. An added bonus was the heated indoor pool. Check in and out went smoothly.

I stayed here two nights last month. Very nice facility, new and clean. I was especially impressed with the food in Kem's restaurant. Had the Pesto Grilled Chicken and Penne Pasta dish, and it was great!
Only negative was that the maid did a poor job. When she cleaned the room, she didn't leave me any drinking glasses (plastic) or a plastic bag for the ice bucket. Inconvenient.

The room was very clean. The beds were very comfortable. The room itself was in perfect condition. The AC did not work which made the evening miserable for me and my family. We did not sleep hardly at all. Since I used my "points" there was no interest in making it right. Honestly I feel like I should at least get half my points back.
The bathtub also held water during the shower. Nobody likes standing in 3 inches of water while taking a shower.

I rode my motorcycle from my home in Tucson, AZ to Key West, FL, north to Daytona Beach, FL to BIKE WEEK and then home to Tucson.
Total miles ridden were 5,155 miles on my Honda Gold Wing.
I have made this journey -16- times since 1995. This time I traveled alone.
I spent 13 consecutive nights in Holiday Inn Properties. HIE, Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn Resort, Holiday Inn and a first for me was Hotel Indigo in San Antonio Texas.
Every night was more than satisfactory.
Mobile, AL was easy to remember for its excellence. Not only because it is the home of the Mobile Bay Bears which is a Farm team for my beloved Arizona Diamondbacks, but also because of the exceptional service.
I was immediately recognized as a Platinum Elite Member.
The manager hosted a welcome party in the lobby for all the guests. How nice to walk in the door after a long day on the road and be told that in -15- minutes there would be a hosted reception featuring appetizers as well as beverages in the lobby.
As usual, I received an upgraded room that gave me the impression that I was the only one who had ever occupied it.
What else could a traveler ask for?

Very nice Holiday with comfortable restaurant and lounge area. Excellent location, close to shopping, golf, and restaurants. Great value for what we paid.
Only fly in the ointment during our stay is that housekeeping forgot to take care of our room the first night of our stay. We tolerated that though since we were only staying two nights and it was late by the time we got back to our room.

This hotel was great!! I travel alot and stay in many hotels. The little bit extra for the room to get a cooked to order breakfast was WAY worth it. The dinner was also very good. George in the bar area was an excellent server. All of the staff were really helpful and provided us with everything we needed. Would stay here over and over.

I recommend this hotel very highly. Every staff member I came in contact with was fantastic and made me feel extremely comfortable while I was away from home. Room was excellent. I will be back to this location next time in Mobile, AL.

I had a wonderful experience at this Holiday Inn the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is only a few years old and seems to be well kept. I like the fact that the lamps have plugs because I travel with my Ipad, laptop, and Iphone so I always have a problem finding plugs to plug all of my electronics in. This is a full service hotel so I had to pay for my breakfast but I found the prices to be fair and the food quality was pretty good. I will be returning to this hotel every time I'm in Mobile.

This Holiday Inn was new - spotless and attractive - and the front desk staff was fantastic. On several occasions they helped out with questions, planning and other details.
The rooms were, perhaps, a bit loud. I could hear my neighbors above and beside me - I'm sure part of that was due to bad parenting (some of the kids were running wild).
The hotel van driver (to and from the airport) - Alex? - was entertaining and fun.
I would stay here again, without hesitation!

I was amazed when I received my dinner of salmon, mashed potatoes and vegetables. It was gourmet. I loved it. I will never prejudge hotel food again.
