Being a VERY senior HANDICAPPED male I was very pleased with the bathroom facilities at ALL of the EXPRESS Lodgings that I have used
EXCEPT FOR ONE THING......
As stated above I am a physically challenged very senior traveler who, although quite active, am very aware of PROBLEMS that couls occur. For SENIOR most problems mostly occur in unfamiliar bathrooms. WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF I, or others, WOULD FALL WHILE IN THE BATHROOM.
There SHOULD be aPHONE DIRECTLY (and ONLY) TO THE FRONT DESK. (This could be a wired or wireless phone) The phone should be mounted LOWER on the wall NEAR the "throne" or stool.

Recent promotions have put the right people in charge.
These individuals have made an OK Hotel into an Outstanding Hotel. Customer focus is key in this recent change. There now seems to be a more coherent team, from the front desk staff to those providing Breakfast service! The maid service was impeccable; outstanding attention to detail. I travel to this area frequently for business reasons and prior to the changes mentioned above I was considering staying at another IHG hotel in the area. Now there is no need, they have maintained this improvement and seem committed to continue this excellence going forward.
