Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Can't Say Enough I have stayed in this particular Holiday Inn Express many times over the past year while my grandson battles leukemia at nearby Dayton Children's Hospital. While business travelers may comprise the lion's share of occupancy on the road, we "family in medical crisis" travelers can attest to the importance of hotel accommodation and this place has never once failed me. The familiar and pleasant staff is a welcome sight after a long and trying day and I will not ponder for a moment staying anywhere else when I travel from South Bend, Indiana to Dayton. BTW the heroic lad has come a long, long way in his year-long struggle and is in remission; his "roadmap" for treatment and therapy remains lengthy and I remain grateful for many people in Dayton for restoring the boy's health. This clean and attractive hotel at Exit 2 on I-675 remains a small but stress-relieving part of the story and I recommend it without hesitation. March 9, 2014

Doesn't feel like the "low end" HIE at all…. better than most Holiday Inns we've stayed at! Rooms are clean, spacious and modern. If you can, book the suite with the sitting room - AWESOME! Very comfortable for working or relaxing. Highly recommend this property. February 16, 2014

After staying at this Holiday Inn for ten months I could not have had a more wonderful "home" to come to after a working day. Greeted by the friendly front desk staff, walking into a superb clean room thanks to excellent house keeping. You are aiming to get ten out of ten well from me you get an 11 out of ten my friends. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by excellent hotel I had to spend a couple of nights in Dayton area and even though this hotel was a little far from my meeting point, I have no regret at all to have stayed there. The staff is really very nice and very helpful, in particular Scott who did his utmost (not only with me) to answer client's expectations. We should, sometimes, recommend some GMs of large hotels to send their new staff to this hotel to soak up with kindness and efficiency. I am going back to Dayton very soon and I will stay there with pleasure, again January 23, 2014

We really liked it the first time due to the fact that it was a newer hotel and very clean. We wondered if it would still feel that way a year later and I can say without hesitation that the room was spotless an very comfortable. The staff is also extremely nice and accommodating. Sonya at the front desk always makes me feel welcome and is one of the friendliest front desk personnel I have encountered. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The beds are comfortable with a good selection of pillows. Although there is not a restaurant at the hotel there is one directly next door and several within easy walking distance. Ask the front desk if you are going to J. Alexanders and they may have a coupon or voucher. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone. December 8, 2013

This property is not one of them. It's so nice to be appreciated as an important customer and not just another dollar sign for the night. The staff did an excellent job at making us feel super welcome from the moment we walked in. And then upgraded our room because we have been good priority patrons in the past! The banquet/meeting room facilities are perfect size for both small and larger gatherings and the amenities in the meeting rooms are very accommodating for large food spreads. The staff at the hotel are very knowledgable and go above and beyond to make sure our event and our stay were above expectations. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Service I travel a lot for work and this was THE most memorable hotel stay I've had in the last 3 years that was also positive. I must give recognition to Sonya. I believe she's the manager of the hotel. I was shocked by the fact that she remembered my name upon seeing me the second night. That may not seem like much to most but I have an extremely rare name which people mess up regularly. She got it right and knew me by face. Furthermore, she asked me how my day was. Again It may not seem like a lot to most people, but being on the road 4-5 days a week can cut down on human interaction. And she made up for a bit of what I miss when I'm away from home. Also the biscuits were fantastic. Best bisquits out of the many Holiday Inn Expresses I've stayed in. November 24, 2013

The hotel had a complimentary shuttle service to my business appointments and anywhere else I needed to go. The drivers were absolutely wonderful, as was the whole staff. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect! After a tiring day of moving we were greeted with a warm, friendly front desk clerk. She gave us the room we requested and it was very clean, new and roomy. The bed was extremely comfortable. The hotel was quiet.....excellent ex room and pool and hot tub. Breakfast was great with a wide variety and complimentary. The Chop House restaurant next door is one of the best in the Dayton area. We highly recommend this property! November 16, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Awesome customer service We checked in on Saturday afternoon 11/9 and when we first called to make reservations we mentioned that we were coming there for a girls weekend to celebrate us turning 50 with our daughters.. well much to our surprise we had a sign on the refrigerator saying Happy Birthday and to look inside the refrigerator and inside there was a piece of cake from the CHOP HOUSE next store. That made our day.. not only that they remembered but they went the extra mile to do that for us.. If you have a chance to go there and stay.. you will not be disappointed!!
