We (my wife and I) were traveling through on our way home from Ft. Lauderdale, after having completed a cruise to the Southern Caribbean on the cruise ship Caribbean Princess.
The front dest staff was not very friendly and I was not recognized as a Priority Club member. However, when we checked in around 6:30 p.m. and opened the door to our room we were pleasantly surprise to find it to be a suite. We were expecting a regular room with double beds, but was asssigned a suite with two queen size beds, and a lovely seperate room with couch, TV, and business table and chair.
Very comfortable suite with ocean front balcony. Breakfast the next morning was OK but not very selective.

My husband & I stayed at this Holiday inn Express we had a fantastic, spacious, VERY CLEAN ocean view room, and the staff was GREAT!! We will stay here again for sure! Keep up the fantastic service!

All of the rooms offer an unobstructed ocean view from the balcony. We kept the balcony door cracked open all night to enjoy the soothing ocean sounds. Breakfast was great with fresh pancakes and a new selection of food each morning. Plenty of outlets for charging computers and phones. I recommend taking a short walk along the beach to a nearby pier to enjoy a great, inexpensive meal. Spectacular sunrises!

Typical dated guest rooms for this general area although the Lobby looks to have been recently updated.
The toilet in our room RAN continously for three days even though we notified the Front Desk the first afternoon soon after checking in.
We had to manually turn the fixture's water supply off every night in order to get some sleep.

the breakfast was the most disappointment, I asked the breakfast hostess where the meat was and she replyed that it was in the gravey, so if you wanted sausage you had to pick it out of the gravey, lol,

Although the staff was very nice and helpful the room was not so good. The room was damp and had a musty smell to it. The doors were rusty and it seemed like they were about to fall off. You were not able to see out of the windows because they were dirty. It seemed that it was double pane glass and it was dirty in between the glass. I was there 2 nights and on the 2nd night it was unusually cold for Daytona and the heater in the room did not work. I would not stay at this hotel again unless if it went under some reconstruction.

We had an excellent stay. My wife, daughter and I enjoyed our stay. The staff was very courteous and nice to work with.

Nicest Holiday Inn Express I've stayed in. The location is perfect, staff very friendly and accommodating, well-rounded breakfast selections. Wish I had been able to spend more time at this location. Would definitely recommend and hope to be back.

We have a wonderful four-night stay at this establishment. I would return there anytime. The staff is wonderful, the room is extremely clean, the breakfast is terrific, the view is the best, and all amenities are the best! Thank you for making our stay so terrific!

Upon arrival, my family and I were greeted by friendly staff.However we were quite disappointed that we were not recognized as Platinum Members (we presented our Chase Priority Rewards Club Visa). Our room was clean and comfortable once we got used to the air conditioner (made some noise when the condenser switched on and off). Breakfast area was kept clean and stocked by a wonderful !(i have forgotten her name). The pool area left a little to be desired - no atmosphere. However, the price paid and the location make it worth a visit

Hotel is right on the beach and all rooms have oceanfront views. Rooms are spacious (not suites) and include sink, microwave and refrigerator. Certainly recommend staying at this property.

Stayed at the hotel two nights. Checkin staff was GREAT.
Room NOT Cleaned even though room empty after 10:00 am.
Checkout staff onl seemed more interested in getting us checked out and paying bill than adressing the issue.
Paid a premium price to stay a this location (okay based on location and Holiday Inn reputation) but did not get the BASIC level of service expected.

away. I think the last visit on Thursday was our 5th or 6th or more. The staff has ALWAYS been wonderful, no matter who it was. The room is always clean. ANd I mean CLEAN.....The place just is awesome. everything anyone would want or need. It exceeds it.
I cannot wait until our next Staycation (we only come from Lakeland) at this place. It is like coming home!! (Only cleaner and quieter)...and we don't have the awesome view......
Oh the cookies were a nice touch but if they don't do it everytime I won't complain....
I hope this gets everyone in this place a big fat bonus!!! Would never stay anywhere else.

Did not get to use the pool as it was freezing and the "heated pool" advertized was either a lie or was not being used...could not get a straight answer from staff, But the ocean being close was great!

This hotel is away from the busiest part of Atlantic Ave. However, it is very close to all major attractions. I was able to enjoy my stay with out being bothered by noise and traffic. I will definitely stay here again and will recommend this hotel.

I stayed at this hotel to attend the events for Bethune-Cookman University's homecoming. This hotel is AMAZING!!! The views are spectacular. We checked in at night. I stepped out onto the balcony and was greeted by the relaxing sounds of the rolling ocean and the moonlight glistening on top of the water. The room is CLEAN, spacious and includes a microwave and refrigerator, which is very convenient. The breakfast is delicious and has the added element of being able to enjoy breakfast while watching the sun rise on the ocean! The pool is relaxing any time of day. Kudos to the staff, including Joyce, Kevin, Lydia, Hayley, Marcus, and Chris (the breakfast hostess)! Keep up the awesome work!!!
