Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by carpet The problem we had was they cleaned the carpets the last day while we were outand most of the floor was soaking wet. We showed it to the attendant and he was kind but didn't offer us another room till 8 at night and my 85 year old mother was already in bed mainly to keep from stepping in the water. It was damp all night to say the least and we were hoarse the next morning and got out of there early. I really think a spill or leak occurred. So the last night was bad. But I like this hotel and stay here when I can. This was just one bad experience. October 16, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Better than Average The staff were friendly and helpful; the room was large and fairly comfortable. The air conditioning is very noisy. The bathroom had some drywall repairs which had not been completed (painted or re-wall papered) and the joint compound was growing black fuzzy mold. It would have been a great stay except the mold sort of freaked me out. October 7, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Customer Service Overall, the hotel was fine; however, I usually stay at holiday inn expresses when I travel but this time encountered a few issues. For off, I was traveling for business and called ahead, 3 days in advance, to ask if I could do an early check in. I was told it wouldn't be a problem, but when I arrived there was no notation of my request and as such, I had to wait 45 minutes for a room. Then I needed a late check out due to meetings and asked the staff at the front desk, who told me it was no problem. However, they neglected to pass the information along to housekeeping, as I had housekeeping come to my door 3 separate times within a 30 minutes span to ask me when I was leaving. It was very disorganized and while I appreciate the ability to check in early and check out late, it would have been nice to not have to deal with the issues that caused. October 7, 2014
