I booked on line and requested the room be ventilated prior to check in....When I opened my room door the window was open and the air on!!!! FANTASTIC!!! Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Cheap toilet paper and stale muffins OK, so to some soft toilet paper isn't a big deal to some but for me, the single ply, sandpaper feeling stuff just don't cut it so I bought my own Charmin... that problem solved. Then there's the uncomfortable beds and air conditioner that never cooled the room enough for a comfortable sleep. Add to this the stale breakfast muffins and overall we were disapointed with our stay at this particular Holiday Inn. November 17, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great staff but room comfort is not good I would commend the front desk clerk and other staff who were very courteous and helpful during our stay. Free breakfast was great. My only complaint is the temperature in the hotel. It was very hot in our room and when I checked the setting on the AC it was set to the "warmest" and Heat not AC. There was a big note on the cover not to change anything and adjust setting on the wall thermostat. I set it to 70 degrees but when we came back late that night, the room was at 77 degrees which was not comfortable for me . I had to open the window to get fresh and cooler air. I did not have time to complain at the front desk because we were so tired from the party we attended. This is not too bad though and I would still recommend Holiday Inn Express to my friends. They greeted me right away with a bag of snacks and water,which was wonderful because I was on the road for like 5 hours. Stood one night only. The hallways kind of stunk like arm pits, but not the rooms(thank god). The bathroom could have been a little cleaner. They had hair sticking out of the blow dyer....ewww. Parking was close up to rooms thats a plus. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family and would be staying there again. October 22, 2013
