I enjoyed my 4 night stay at this hotel. It is very clean and has excellent mattresses and pillows. The breakfast was good too.
I was working in the area.

I have but good things to say about this holiday inn express. In my line of work I travel a lot, so I have a choice of we're I want to stay. I which all hotels were as good as this one. People here are great especially the manager. She's great. The only thing that bothered me was a misunderstanding. I called customer service the other day and asked them to email me a receipt. They did but they also placed it as a complaint towards this hotel. Like I said before, this is a great hotel. I have nothing bad to say about this place

Kat at the front desk was awesome. She remembered my Gold status and was very friendly and helped us pick out a lovely dinner spot.

After a long drive, the green and blue Holiday Inn Express sign is a welcome sight from the dark freeway. The only real problem is its location, tucked away on a dark road off the main Deming highway on the far edge of town. But like any HIE it is worth the effort to find.
Our room was clean and comfortable. It included a standard mini fridge and microwave.
Our only complaint was that the breakfast dining area was too small for all the guests streaming down for eggs and bacon. We had to take our full plates and drinks back to our room. I would recommend they add a few extra tables in the lobby area for the morning rush like I've seen at other HIE.
But overall we enjoyed our brief stay and will most likely be back next time we pass through.

As an IHG Platinum Ambassador, I stay at various IHG properties throughout the U.S. and Canada each year (about 50 room nights per year). I tend to adjust my expectations according to the type of property and the rack rates. This HIE was just average based on the other HIE's I've stayed in over the past couple of years. While the front desk staff were pleasant, the property seems to have been constructed using match sticks and rice paper. The walls were paper thin (i.e. No noise attenuation), every footstep was audible, and a number of bathroom tiles had already come loose from the substrate. This looks from the outside like a new property. If it is, the Franchisor needs to go back to the GC with a new punch list.

Made a reservation via telephone, but when I showed up I was told the hotel was overbooked and that no rooms were available. After prodding for help an assistant manager found a room (after 25 or 30 minutes). Room given was a 1 bed room (for my 3 person family), bathroom was dirty with hair on ground and in shower.
