Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by excellent reception staff breakfast a bit of let down The only comment and disappointment to me and my wife and friend was the lack of fried eggs , bacon, and tomatoes on the menu for breakfast and when asked why not was informed the hotel had no hob to cook on most people in my experience at staying at many hotels do not like scrambled eggs nor boiled sausagese other than that it was a very pleasant stay at the hotel but in my opinion would have been better if the above were provided somewhat in this respect disappointing April 29, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good stay Along with my wife we stayed 2 nights at this hotel, which was ideally situated for the Queens Medical Centre in Nottingham and the M6 motorway. The hotel public areas and bedrooms were clean, a good reflection on Housekeeping. As people who travel on a world basis we found the staff very friendly and courteous especially Gavin the duty manager who was most helpful in our needs. April 26, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great service from start to finish staff were excellent , all needs catered for efficiently ,room very clean , well equipped and comfortable.. Only thing of note which was not the hotel staffs fault was that unfortunately we were slightly disturbed by drunken shouting in the corridor in the early hours and discovered the next morning that someone had vomited in the corridor and lift however on reporting this to the desk staff they acted immediately and could not have been more apologetic even though it was not there fault. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Pretty good value and more or less as I expected. On the whole, I think you get pretty good value from a stay in a Holiday Inn Express. My only 'grizzle' is that the sausages are never, ever, well done enough for me! But that's just me. I'm sure there are some people who really like sausages that look as if they've 'just been shown the heat'! Don't get me wrong, I'm not for one moment suggesting that they're under cooked from a health point of view. I just like a nice, browned all the way around, sausage!! Well, maybe slightly overdone by some peoples standards. And to be fair, when I mentioned this at check out, in quite a light hearted way, the duty manager that day said that If I'd mentioned it at the time, they would have been more than happy to provide with sausages that were cooked more to my liking.
