The heating in the room did not function at all and the staff had placed a pitiful little electric wall heater in the room.. Given that it was 0 degrees outside and freezing cold it was like ice in the room in my opinion the room should not have been let out in this state - however I was informed that more than one room had this fault !!!!
Probably most disappointing was that the staff opted to keep quiet about the issue and let people find out only after the room/s had been committed to and paid for I found this quite sneaky and not a very processional way to conduct a service!!!
Also the breakfast in the main being just rubbery scrambled egg very tired beans and not very nice sausage and leathery pre-cooked bacon is nt the best starting meal of the day - Sorry

Another great night at this property. Very easy to get on with an afternoons work and then relax into the evening and get a pretty good nights sleep. Staff are very very helpful and overall I am certain I will be back there again for some further stays in the future.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Big Sister Grimm great room, and excellent service, BUT
My first overseas holiday for 10 years or so, so I agree that I am not your average customer.
I booked in for an overnight stay prior to flying out the next day, and was extremely happy with the booking service, the check in and the room.
My only serious comment, which I feel you should definately consider, is that someone NOT on business and booking into your hotel, is on a budget, and possibly a tight one, having saved up to go away.
Like me! So the prices on the menu for dinner came as a big shock. I know the approx costs of, say Chilli, pasta dishes, and the old home standbys, and although the cooking which was good, I do question the prices charged. Add a vegetarian section to your menu to disguise the fact that such dishes are budget ones. Vegetable , salads, beans and pulses are cheap to cook but can be very tasty and healthy. The latter 2 also freeze well! Get this right
