We live in DeSoto and decided to spend a couple of days away from home to relax and celebrate a birthday. This Holiday Inn Express is one of the newer motels in the area and is situated near many of the local restaurants. We very much enjoyed our stay.
[They only negative was a low pressure toilet (designed to save water?) which was difficult to use because of the extreme force required to press the handle and activate the flush. Overall a small thing to deal with.]

I really enjoyed the hotel and the staff . I was there for a wedding and everything was just perfect. The rooms were very clean and the customer service was excellent.

Comfortable overall, but the door didn't shut properly on our room. Not sure if we would stay there again, especially as we stayed in a total of 4 different Holiday Inns - each very different in their offerings. Did not feel quite as welcomed as a platinum priority club member as in the other three.

The hotel is beautiful. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was hot and plentiful. Bruce was a great help. (He's a very friendly guy with a big Texas smile). We only had one problem - no cellular reception in the room (223). Which was sort of an inconvenience. When we told Bruce at check out, he assured us he'd let someone know.

The hotel is very clean and modern, and the staff (especially front desk) was extremely helpful, pleasant and professional. The room was well appointed, well lit and very comfortable. Would definitely stay there next time I am in the area.

Really nice hotel.
Really bizarre check-in. Entered hotel to check-in. No one there. Went and got nags and wife out of car, parked car. Still no one at front desk.
Another guest came to front desk (i.e. already checked-in) to get help. We stood around another 20-25 mins or so. He said he checked 10-15 mins before I was there and no one was there.
I began trying to find a number for IGH to call. Had just gotten someone on the phone to talk to and attendant walked in front door.
No explination, no apology just began helping people. The guy I had been standing there with asked where he had been. No explination given. At least a half dozen customers waiting by this time.
All else pretty normal. Nice hotel otherwise. I had stayed at this location before.

It's nice they have an in-house laundry room. My only complaint is that for the number of guests they need an additional washer, one just isn't enough.

This Holiday Inn Express has a refreshing level of style and decor. It is apparent that a significant amount of effort and resources were applied to the design of the hotel. The well thought out design is complimented by the reasonable pricing, cleanliness, and hospitality.

We stayed at this hotel several weeks ago and it was an AWESOME experience. Front desk was very polite, the rooms was nice and clean. This was our second time staying at this hotel and both stays was AWESOME. Will definitely stay there again. Hotel is in an area where there are MANY restaurants and shopping areas.

I don't believe the room was vacuumed during our stay. This may be your policy, but this is one of the things I look for to rate the cleaniness of my room stay. Otherwise, I was pleased with the hotel.
