I normally spend 70 nights or so in hotels each year, from 5-star hotels in Asia to everyday stays in the US, so I have a pretty wide range of experience. I was very satisfied with the level of service, comfort and convenience of my stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Dickinson. I'm very comfortable in recommending it.

When visiting Holiday Inn Express and Suites in Dickinson,ND I found the property to be very clean and well maintained. Also, the facility is convenient to services such as fuel, food, and the interstate. As I often travel for business, the fact that it was very quiet throughout my stay allowed me a peaceful night of sleep which, is extremely important to me.

I'm usually very satisfied with the Holiday Express brand. Unfortunately, I had a negative experience with this location. My room (room 311# had a window on the third floor, however the view was of the pool #if you looked down#. If you looked straight out, you had a view of another wall. I noticed I had to have the lights on in the room during the day when I was working from my hotel room. I did not ask to be moved, but there should be an indication of the view when you secure the reservation. The room was clean, but it felt a little outdated when compared to other Holiday Inn Express locations. The faucet to the sink and shower wasn't on right #Hot = Cold, Cold = Hot). My last morning I didn't have water for about an hour and a half. This was water for the sink, shower, etc. They did have maintenance guys working on it and they got it fixed. When I checked in to the hotel, they only activated my hotel room card for one night, so I had to go to the front desk the next day when I returned. They do have vending machines, but not the standard snack pantry that are at most locations. Plus, the price was extrememly high. Most likely do to limited options for this area.
