Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by never again Been staying at HIE for several years now/this is the 1st time i have ever not enjoyed my stay> there was const going on in the rooms above me,put up with noise until 830pm then called the front desk to ask to tell the workers it was time to quit/ 2 more call and 45min more it stopped. wife asked for a bottle of water and was told you are not a gold member so you dont get any,and pointed her in the direction of a store up the street.[WHAT. this was the last night of a 4 nite trip> all the other 3 properties gave us water ?] most of the breakfast bars have either bacon or sausage when neither was found was told the meat was in the gravy. will never stay at this location again> several other nice places in the same area. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Customer Care? you gotta be kidding! I have stayed at the Dickson Holiday Inn many times over the past 4 years. I have caused many people to stay at the Dickson Holiday Inn over the past 4 years. They normally provide me a bottle of water at check in … well not any more! They changed their policy. I wanted to cancel my room and go elsewhere. They refused cuz it was after 6pm. The staff and management couldn't care less. They said they are prepared to loose customers over their new "policy". Well guess what … we have changed our policy and no longer recommend or stay at the Dickson Holiday Inn. I have never written a review before but could not believe I was refused a 50 cent bottle of water because it was policy. They told me to complain to Holiday Inn. Not likely. I barely have the time to write this review. February 19, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love my Dickson Holiday Inn I have been staying @ this hotel for about one year and will have to say that this is my favorite location in my territory. I travel for business and it is so nice not to have to worry about my stay, in anyway. Staff is always friendly and curtious, especially Keela, who always brightens my day upon my arrival. I truly recommend this hotel for a pleasant, dependable and comfortable stay. February 10, 2014

This is a great place to stay when your away from home and there are several excellent restaurants near by. February 4, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Exceptional staff Our heat had gone out at home and we had an appt at Vanderbilt anyway , we drove 120 miles to this hotel, because it was pet friendly. On arrival the young man, Adam, was very polite. My husband has dementia and cannot help with luggage very well, so he and our Lhasa Apso set in the lobby while I unloaded. Adam talked to my husband and kept him occupied. The next morning our heat went out in the room we were given, Adam worked it out for us to move just next door to the room we were in, he helped us move all our luggage , cooler, anything we needed, he helped with. Our room was warm and comfortable. An hour or so later, I had to go to my car for something, by myself 8 at night. He was nice enough to watch for my security while I went to car and back. This young man has no idea how much I appreciated all he was able to do for us. I am hoping management reads this review and commends him for a job very well done. Above and beyond the call of duty. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Poor Value I have stayed at Holiday Inn Express and Holiday Inn Express and Suites fourteen times since July, 2013. I have been very satisfied with all but this location. I was forced to stop in Dickson by mechanical problems. The clerk on duty at the front desk was rude and uncooperative. The rate was by far the highest I paid compared to all the other locations (13) that I have stayed. The room was also the smallest and least comfortable. I would highly recommend driving on! Well lit parking lots, good location and inside corridor doors always make us feel safe and secure. Clean and comfortable rooms with attentive staff have been the norm. December 8, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Staff was Great -- Room was 1 issue after another Stayed 4 nights. Staff was great. Room the toilet didn't flush when we arrived. They sent a guy up the next day...the toilet flushed but walked into the bathroom and it was flooded...waited another day for that to be fixed. The entry way light blew out the first night. They came up and fixed it...it blew out again...this happened 3 more times...they decided that they were going to need an electrician look at it. Unfortunately it was a holiday weekend. They did offer us another room..but we decided just to leave a day early. November 30, 2013
