Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Worst Holiday Inn Express Experience I've been an IHG platinum member for a while, and this is the worst experience I've ever had. The hotel is great, good location, new building, clean room, good lobby; everything that a Holiday Inn Express is meant to be. BUT the guests and the staff were not. I checked in to a 3rd floor. I called around 8:30PM because the noise was intolerable. They were coming from the 1st floor pool, and we could hear the kids yelling and running around in the hallway. I was informed that there were 3 hockey teams and a gymnastic team staying overnight. I requested a quieter room, and I went down to get a key. What I saw was a zoo! Not just the kids, but the parents of the kids literally took over the entire lobby/dining hall area and they were throwing a party there. They weren't sitting down waiting for their kids. They literally had pizzas, drinks, food for the kids spread across like a school cafeteria WITH music playing. I got a key to a second floor room, but it was no better. The next day, when we went to check out, another exact scene of the entire party. I spoke with the manager in front, and although she was nice, she said that she's trying her best to keep all guests satisfied. While I understand her predicament, the party scene is absolutely unacceptable. IF the hockey parents rented out the entire hotel, maybe. But there were other guests like us who just wanted to get some nice quiet rest. She said that she couldn't keep everyone happy. Absolutely right, she can't. But she needed to have done her part to keep the hotel a respectable place, not a party rental to some (again, that's my issue) noisy group just because they No offense to cheaper hotels, but if I wanted a cheap, loud, obnoxious neighbors, I would've gone there. No, I wanted some peace and quiet. Is that too much to ask at a Holiday Inn? April 19, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Hotel This is the 2nd time we have stayed at this location. I enjoy Holiday Inn Express in general and try to stay in them when we travel. I feel this is the best Holiday Inn Express we have ever stayed at. It is clean, modern, convenient and the staff are very professional and friendly. Always a good experience when we have stayed there. P.s. the pancake machine rocks!!! Thanks again guys, I'm sure we will have the opportunity to stay there again when we are in the area.
