I have stayed at this particular Holiday Inn since before it was a Holiday Inn. The staff is always 100% helpful and cheerful. I come south for a NASCAR race every fall since 1997. I have become friendly with some of the staff as they are there from year to year. Location is great and there are many options for dining and shopping all within a mile or two. I would recommend this location to anyone visiting this area!

This hotel was packed--lots going on in the area when we stayed. The room was quiet, even though it was on the first floor, and generally okay except for a huge rip in the carpet near the bathroom door which could easily cause someone to trip, especially in the dark. The front desk staff were efficient and friendly, the breakfast decent (pancakes instead of the usual waffles we've all come to expect, so that was at least different). All in all, a decent on-the-road hotel experience and a convenient stopping point for us. The Douglasville area has a lot to offer--restaurants, shopping.

We stayed for 1 night while in town for a wrestling tournament. Our room was everything that we were told it would be. From checking in to checking out everything was great. We would definitely stay there again.

Perfect from beginning to end. We arrived 12 hours early and needed a room at 2:30am. No problem... we were in a room within 15 mins. They staff was exceptional, the free breakfast was yummy (with several choices) I recommend the homemade pancake machine and the sausage links with a homemade sugar/cinnamon roll. There was always scrambled/ omelet/ hard boiled eggs, toast, bagels w/ cream cheese, yogurt, fresh juices, milk, sausage/bacon, blueberry and nut and chocolate muffins, a variety of cereals. My husband & I stayed for 4 nights. The pillows were great, the bed was soft; but not too soft. The location to restaurants, shopping, and groceries were all walking distance (5 mins or less). This hotel was AWESOME!! So many things to do that were close to there... from mall shopping w/ an Imax theater inside, zip lining, downtown Atlanta, and so much more. Go see the cold mountain laser show too! The pool was wonderful. The room had a coffee machine, small fridge & microwave and we loved that. We will D-I-F-I-N-A-T-L-E-Y be back there. :)

This is a great place to stay when traveling to west Georgia. It is located near Wal-Mart, Sam's, Crackle Barrel, and a bbq place called Williamson. This is now home for me when I am in Douglasville.

This hotel needs a cosmetic update. The rooms were dated, bathroom especially, and there was no exhaust fan in the bathroom. This can make for an unpleasant feel on the senses. The elevator smelled of cigarettes; probably from the old carpet. The tile floors need serious cleaning and for goodness sakes get a heating/cooling system that shuts off automatically. Ours ran all night. I the morning of check-out we encountered an unexpected visitor in the form of a 3 inch coach roach. Get pest control involved. If we encountered it when we arrived we would have not stayed there at all!

I do have to say the room was very clean. I have obsessed cleaning disorder and I did not have to even dust. I appreciate that more than a good night sleep. I did sleep well and the breakfast was fair. Just go early ,it might have been better.

This hotel is very convenient to everything we do in the Atlanta area--ball games to music concerts!! Staff is excellent to the needs of the guest!! I enjoy the feeling of customer service being the top of the staff--Devena (?misspelled) goes beyond making everything comfortable for the guest. She is a great asset to the Holiday Inn Staff as well as others.
The only complaint I have, we left the Braves game at the top of the 9th thinking we would watch the rest of the game on the TV in the room--much disappointment to the entire family the game was not on the selected channels provided by the hotel. The game went 15 innings which we missed the last 5.....we will know better next time.

I was very happy with everything about the stay. The staff was great, the rooms were clean & comfortable. I was there for 2 weeks on business, & it never stopped being a comfortable relief to get back to the room. There was also so many great amenities, which really helps during a prolonged stay. I will definitely use Holiday Inn Express again.

I thought the room was extremely comfortable.
The breakfast selection was outstanding.
I note the shower curtain which was designed with a split seam to hang over the edge of the tub and eliminate the usual hassles of tugging the inside and outside flaps to keep the floor dry.

When we come to the Atlanta area we also stay at this Holiday Inn--convenient location to Atlanta area.
Also, the staff is ready to help you with anything you need. Seems like they enjoy their job so that makes a pleasant atmosphere for everyone!!
Breakfast has the right amount of variety without over doing it on one or two things...

This is a beautiful hotel, however my stay was not what I have come to expect because I was on the 2nd floor which is the smoking floor. All attempts should be made to get a non smoking room when you make your reservation. The smell is terrible.

The staff at the Holiday Inn Express Atlanta W Douglasville was so friendly. Although the room was definitely not the nicest hotel room I've seen in a Holiday Inn Express, the staff was friendly so that helped me ignore the overly hot room and uncomfortable bed. I will recommend this hotel to someone else.

For the past year, my husband and I drive up each month to Douglasville to visit our sick daughter who is in a nearby nursing home. This recent trip was a nightmare. Due to the 9 hour drive, and the emotionally exhausting visit with our critically ill daughter, from the morning until after dinner time, we return to the hotel room physically and emotionally drained. We always request a room on a quiet floor so that we can get a good night's sleep, refresh our batteries, and continue our visit for 3 or so days. We then drive home. This time, we were placed on a floor with kids who were in town for a baseball tournament. They ran up and down the hallways and were slamming doors till past 2 am. One night, the local police were called to quell the disturbance. This went on for 3 straight nights. They were in the pool long after it closed. This is not what a traveler expects when staying at a hotel. It's not as if we don't pay good money to stay there. I asked to be moved, but was told that the teams were on all the floors. This is disgraceful. A hotel is not a playground. We are extremely disappointed and unhappy, ESPECIALLY, having made a point of mentioning the need for a quiet floor due to our circumstances. We have always enjoyed staying at this hotel, but this experience has left a sour taste in our mouths. We would have been better off sleeping in our car.

We enjoyed our stay very much even though we were there for a funeral. The front desk person did give us a discounted rate for bereavement. It was vey nice and in a good location. It only took us about 15 minutes to get to the mortuary and I didn't have to get back on I-20 which was good. We also liked that Cracker Barrell and Waffle House were across the street and Wal-Mart close by. Thank you for your courtesy and assistance during our stay.

Have stayed here several times on business. Rooms are average. Internet connection is terrible. Have had my connection drop several times during each stay. Also, have never received a room upgrade even though I am elite. They do recognize you as a priority club member though which is positive. Will stay again as price is reasonable for the area.

Great location with above excellent service. Service is always very good every visit. all amenities are fully functional although wireless internet could use major improvements, and online availibility should mirror onsite availibility (reserved suite was not availible). overall great stay!!!!

I think that after you reach Platium that the reward should be higher than a bag of cookies and 4 oz bottle of water.
The front desk evening shifts a=on my nites of stay there were very pleasan carla and keith. The morning shift could use some customer service skills, Like How are you? have a great day greeting would be nice. other than that housekeeprsa are excellent and Brekfast Hostess are very pleasant .
