Great place to stay. Everything you need is right there. Beds where very nice to sleep on. Rooms big and clean. Enjoyed my stay. Staff was friendly and the house keepers also very nice and friendly. Will stay here again

We booked two rooms for a 3 night stay. This was our third stay in a few months. The check-in process was quick and the staff was very friendly, courteous, helpful and professional. The rooms were very clean and everything worked fine. These were smoke-free rooms and there was no trace of cigarette smell in the rooms (which isn't always the case in many hotels, as other asthmatics will quickly tell you). There was plenty of free parking. The breakfast buffet was more than adequate, with fruit, eggs, meats, muffins, yogurt, pancakes, juices and coffee, among other things. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance, as well as a Wal-Mart if you need items. The rooms had a microwave and refrigerator, which was handy for drinks and snacks. It has easy access to I-20 and local destinations. A computer and printer are available in the lobby to print out your boarding passes. There is free Wi-Fi in the rooms which always had a good connection. I rented a car at the airport and it was only a 20 minute drive. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Entire property smelt of tobacco. Desperate need of a re-do or a plow over. Not the Holiday Inn Express I have come to love.

I always participate on anything that will conserve energy and save the planet resources; including the one that Holiday Inn Express implemented.
But every time I hang the towel after use; which mean that I will reuse it again, the Maid Service always takes it away. So I have to use the new towel.
Please review the rules with your staffs, so they understand that when I hang the towel, it means that I will reuse it.

Contrast makes all the difference. I stayed at a different Holiday Inn Express the night prior to my stay here, and the contrast could not have been more severe. Here I was given a bag with pretzels and a water by a polite concierge, the room was clean and smelled nice, and even looked new and perhaps recently painted. In short, it was all one could wish for in an economically-priced hotel. My only negative comment would be that as much as I love the fact that the breakfasts are complimentary with your stay, the food is always rather bland, and sometimes feels like I'm trapped in a health food store. They're fine if you're only traveling for a day or two, but after a week of travel... I don't know, maybe just adding some poptarts and donuts would make the difference for those of us who can't live on yogurt, bananas, and tiny little muffins. Fighting obesity is awesome, but not the job of Hotels :D

Noisy air conditioner at the end of the corridor outside our room 424 on the fourth floor. No way to turn the air conditioner off. Hopefully someone will read this and fix it.
Apart from that the hotel was great, nice and friendly staff, great breakfast and dedicated Priority Club members parking.

The Holiday Inn Express is the best property that I've stayed at in Douglasville. The staff is always very attentive and helpful with anything I may need. There's also plenty of restaurants within 5 minutes to satisfy my cravings. Easy to find and a great location right off of I-20.

This room came with some great amenities like a small fridge and microwave. The bed was extremely comfortable as was the couch! There was a particular maid that my wife said was very sweet to her while I was out running errands (we stayed here due to a small fire in our home and the soot was being cleaned out for a few days only about 15 miles away) and wished us luck about our situation. If Douglasville were a place we wanted to stay at more often and were farther away from us we would most certainly come back to this hotel, and it will make us consider using a holiday inn express when we travel elsewhere.
Also- Some great restaurants and shopping are close by this hotel. Our favorite pizza joint, Stevie B's is within walking distance. Definite plus.
