Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointed This property need a lot of maintenance. Rugs were dirty, and air conditioners are old wall units below the windows. Was moved twice after a long day of driving & late check-in, because the air conditioners kept shutting off before reaching the temperature set. Front desk clerk was rather indifferent towards the problem, then to insult my intelligence tried to justify the broken down condition of the air conditioners by telling me that I don't understand how they work. I am annoyed that I paid a Holiday Inn Express price for a low end, one or two star quality hotel. Avoid this place! December 13, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by holiday inn destination when my wife i travel down to Virginia we like to take our time and drive through Delaware instead of the I 95 speedway. our stop over is Dover at the holiday inn express its a clean friendly place. the beds are great and the rooms are clean and fresh. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by loved this location we were here for thanks giving location is excellent as close to all main shopping locations so we saved a lot, plus no tax state, so perfect for thanks giving. Also bathroom tub was good relaxing Night felt stuffy and not much air circulation but that happens in most hotels, rest breakfast was excellent and staff was very good. Lady serving breakfast was good and done extra for us, as she shared her experience while we were there so we felt at home. Bottom line, if you love shopping, go there, stay there, take your kids to chuck y cheese and your wife can do shopping and you save on tax and eat nice at some nice points. I also book rooms for my family when they come to town and they enjoy the amenities and feel that the price is commensurate with what you receive here. December 1, 2014

There is added after-hours security access that is reassuring, but I think it should start at midnight rather than 10pm. My only issue with the hotel was the noise level. I was far from the elevator, yet every sound in the hallway came right in under the door. November 24, 2014
