This was by far the nicest H/I Express in which we have recently stayed. The facility was crisp and at attention. It was very quiet. The rooms were spacious and I told this to the desk clerk on our departure. I don't know when this facility opened or was updated but it must have been quite recent. Keep up the fine work!!

I have stayed in plenty of Holiday Inns across the country, and I think this is one of the best. If you’re a bird watcher, Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge is only a few miles away.

Stayed 2 nights. Room was 79 degrees when we arrived. Turned system on and air was set at 68. First night room never got below 72 and I reported it first thing in the morning. Front desk clerk said she would get it fixed. After a day sightseeing got back to room and it was cooler but not 68 degrees as the system was showing. The bed was not as comfortable as I'm used to when staying at a Holiday Inn Express. The plastic mattress cover didn't do it for me. I did tell the desk clerk about it. The breakfast was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful with local directions. I'd stay there again if in the area.

this was only a one night stop over on a road trip, however we were pleasantly surprised.... after having just stayed in another HI Express a few days earlier in another state, the Dover location was a step up! We arrived in the wee hours of the morning and were warmly greeted, the lobby is very nicely done, the room included an unexpected fridge and microwave. Bathroom and bedroom were clean, attractive and served the purpose. Knowing that the site is independently owned, it was clear from our short experiece that the owner and staff make efforts at running a great hotel.

Is a nice quiet hotel with comfortable beds. Only complaint is that in room 410 the turntable in the microwave does not spin.

Pleased with room upgrade received. While the room was clean, the bathroom could have used more care. The fixtures, toilet and the shower areas could have used a little more elbow grease. The headboard was also a bit on the dusty side. I also think the halls and stairwells need some upkeep. Dirt lined the stairs and railings. Curtains in the stairwell were hanging off the windows and needed a good cleaning.

I was not comfortable in my original room and the staff bent over backwards to make sure I was satisfied. They changed my room and had my keys ready when I came in the next afternoon.

I had an awesome stay at this hotel. Very quiet and clean which are my biggest point getters. Breakfast was good and your right off the highway which made getting back on the road easy. Stay here if you get a chance.
