We could not fault the accommodation and situation. A restaurant recommendation by one of the receptionists was first class.

Hotel is well located for access to the old city and attractions, all within a 5 to 10 minute walk. Underground parking was also an added bonus. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms well decorated and clean.

Für einen Kurztripp nach Dresden, ein ideal zentral gelegenes Hotel.
Das Frühstück war ausreichend die Auswahl jedoch sehr spartanisch . Sonst ein modern eingerichtetes Zimmer, tolles Bad und nette Mitarbeiter.
Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt und kommen wieder.

We stayed over Valentines Day as part out our journey further East. We have only good things to say. The front desk staff were very friendly and professional. The room was very nice and modern. We were recognized as Priority Club Members and "upgraded" to "Club" room. I don't know what if any upgrade it really was but it keeps me IHG loyal. Breakfast was/is consistent with HI Express in Germany. It would be nice to have something hot, however, like eggs and sausage like they have at the HI Express's in Poland and the US (nice added touch even though most German's prefer the the "international"). This isn't a complaint, just a suggestion. With all of this said, to top it off is the location. Despite the cold and snow of February, walking was not an issue as the hotel is literally located next to everything (we liked) to include a shopping "mall." We didn't shop, just hit the KFC as I am an unofficial ambassador... Dresden is definitely on our Summer to do list thanks to this hotel!

The hotel is very conveniently located with a number of trams stopping right outside the Hotel, taking you to all parts of the city. We were met with very knowledgeable and friendly smiling front desk staff who went all the way to supply us information about the city and places to visit. The room was kept very tidy and clean, with usual facilities to be expected of a 3 star hotel. Signal strength of free in room WIFI is excellent. The only down side is that you will find no drawers but only open shelves to put your clothings. The buffet breakfast served a good variety of food to be found in a continental breakfast.

I have stayed at this hotel multiple times in Dresden and choose it over those closer to the office because of the helpful and friendly staff, comfortable rooms with nice view. It is also close to the old city and many restaurants when I have an evening to myself or need to meet colleagues.

This hotel has spacious and very modern and nice furnished rooms. The bathroom is so well designed, the shower spacious too and very clean (glas walls). Everything worked just fine.
The location is excellent too. The friendliness of the staff was outstanding, very natural. We really enjoyed the stay. This hotel deserves at least 4*.

gutes Hotel, in super Lage mitten in der Stadt, öffentlich günstiger Parkplatz direckt gegenüber. Quenbett zu zwei zu weich ist schon ein Nachteil, das Frühstück mit der Massenabfertigung in Selbstbedinung ist gewöhnungsbedürftig.

This was a great value hotel for us. It was a very nice, clean, modern room, and the bar facility in the lobby was nice as well. Located close to the train station, the hotel was perfect for our travel schedule which had us needing to get to the airport early in the morning. A 20 min transfer on the S-bahn, and we were there. A great price, for a very nice facility and staff.

Wow, we were very impressed with this hotel. Comfortable, clean and lively. It is located close to the train station and very close to the city center full of restaurants and shops. Of course, during Christmas the market is just two blocks away. The people were great -- the bar lively on both nights of our stay (a Wednesday and Thursday). We will definately stay here again when returning to Dresden.

The room was quite spacious and comfortable.
The breakfast variety was limited.
The wifi was good but it wopuld be better if it could be charged per minute, since i had to pay for 5 days (5x24hours) and i used it fo something like 8 hours in total.

The person at the desk when we arrived insisted on speaking German although it was clear that we were more comfortable using English. We were then asked to pay for our three-day stay in advance. When we questioned this requirement we were told that it was common amongst hotel groups like Holiday Inn. We travel quite frequently and have never before been asked to pay the bill when checking in. We asked to see the manager but it was only his assistant who came out and simply repeated that it was company policy to settle the account on arrival to make sure that guests would not leave without paying the bill. We pointed out that the hotel was in possession of the number of the credit card we were using which would have made it impossible to leave without payment. This assistant manager simply turned around and went back to the office, leaving us alone for five minutes. We had no choice but to stay since we would have been charged for one night's stay if we had gone to another hotel. This was our second stay at the Dresden Holiday Inn Express and you can be certain that it will be our last.

Better than higher-graded hotels we stayed in during our 66 day travel through Europe. Comfortable room with an actual double bed, not two singles joined together. Tea coffee in room and good breakfast included. Location in middle of shopping district with historical buildings and river within close walking distance.

Stayed for 4 nights; clean rooms. Hotel is very close to the Frauenkirche and other famous attractions of Dresden. Breakfast selection poor if you stay for more than 1 night.

ich war für 3 Tage im Holiday Inn Express Dresden. Es sieht modern aus, ziemlich exklusiv eingerichtet, alles sauber, gute Lage, sehr freundliches Personal, schöne Frühstüchsecke. Alles in allem sehr toll, werde ich auf alle Fälle weiterempfehlen.
Einziger Kritikpunkt: Stau bei der Suche nach einem freien Tisch in der Frühstücksecke.

Its a nice hotel to stay for a business trip or a city-trip.
The variety of breakfast choices could be better e.g. scrambled eggs and the Breakfast-room should be much larger. It was very crowed during the whole time of our stay.
The welcome at the reception was good and they helped us to get a ticket for a city tour.
The bed was just a french bed so its a little bit "cuddly" with only one bedcover...but for a young couple okay.
But the cabinet could be much larger... for a 4 days trip it was to small for two persons!!! There sould be more storage compartments.
The bathroom was very nice with a big shower.
Otherwise an explanation for the air conditioning would be nice but we found it out by yourself at the end.
The location was very good... all of the sightseeing attractions could be reached in 5-10 minutes on foot.
Finally it was a nice trip and we would again book this hotel for a trip to dresden.

We were in Dresden for a few days and really were thrilled with our selection of hotels. It was comfortable, so reasonable, and included a great breakfast buffet. The location is super!! Just a few blocks from all the major attractions in old town Dresden.
