A choice of firm or soft pillows is a great idea. Well laid out bathroom with soft towels and good shower gel. Overall a good value for money stay. July 13, 2014

Would have rated breakfast higher but as neither of us wanted wheat-based cereal it left our choice a bit limited. My husband is on statins to no grapefruit! These are general criticisms of most b & b hotels and not specific to Holiday Inn . Hotel always clean and tidy and staff friendly. July 10, 2014

As always the staff, room and breakfast were helpful, comfortable and fulfilled our appetite. Would definately use again. Easy on and off motorway and we recommend the harvester restaurant next door for dinner. July 9, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by comfortable stay Hotel does what it needs to do for a budget hotel, however with a couple of nice extras, such as Free Standard WiFi (for premium to enable you to stream TV or movies you need to pay £5 per night) and Air Conditioning in rooms. Bed linen could be slightly better quality and they no longer give you Dove in the bathrooms and have moved to some generic brand. Would be nice if the hotel vacuumed the rooms between guests to ensure there are no bits left on the carpets. Public areas looked clean, impersonal and thoroughly generic, however I didn't use them and didn't partake in the included breakfast, so cannot comment on the quality of the food, choice or quality. Staff are pleasant when you could attract their attention, however they should perhaps pay a little more attention to arriving guests, in addition to chatting to each other July 7, 2014
