Nice relaxing stay, very friendly staff when I checked in. Good comfortable sleep even though it is next to a Macdonalds!!
Looking forward to the new rooms when complete

This hotel is always welcoming ,clean and immaculately kept all through. It is a very well placed hotel for visiting the local area. The management and staff should be proud of the friendly service they give to their visitors.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by VixW Comfortable hotel after a long journey
We arrived at the Holiday Inn Droitwich M5, Jct. 5 after a
very long journey travelling home from a holiday in Cornwall. First impressions were very good and straightaway felt relaxed about our stay. Our room faced out onto the car park so was very quiet with the window open. I'm not sure if we would have been able to open the window if we had been allocated a room facing the other way, looking out onto the nearby M5 motorway because of the road noise?
The temperature in the room was quite cold so seeing it was warm outside, we didn't bother with any air conditioning.
The hotel was very well located for dining, having three different restaurants nearby, which did not cause excess noise at night.
One suggestion, it would have been lovely to have a bath after my journey, but otherwise the bathroom was excellent.
Thanks for a great stay!

Ideally situated just off the M6 , Our room on the first floor was comfortable and clean, the free WiFi was good. Room was air conditioned. Yes I would certainly stay here again.

The main reason I stay at this hotel is the amazing service you get from the staff. They are genuinely helpful and nice :) Even when I had a problem with my air conditioning unit, they couldn't have been lovelier. the rooms are also comfortable and clean.

Was expecting a bog standard, slightly shabby hotel, much like any other, but was pleasantly surprised.
Reception is modern and welcoming and rooms are well equipped and clean (if slightly on the small side).
Located right next to a McDonalds and a Harvester (I think), the car park can be busy. Did not notice any noise in my room.
My main criticism (like many other reviewers) is the choice at breakfast. Hot choices were sausages and very mediocre scrambled egg. What? No bacon?? I asked the staff about this and they said it is a "continental breakfast". The problem is that the cold selection was not great either - just one type of plasticky cheese, fruit, yoghurt, croissants and jam. No cold meat, pate etc.
I would suggest to offer a decent continental breakfast selection and do away with the rubbish sausages and reconstituted scambled egg. Continental OR Cooked - Do one or the other well; don't do both poorly.

We have stayed here on a number of occasions. Every time we have found ALL staff helpful and friendly. They maintain high standards and are hard working. A pleasure to stay atthis hotel.

Leaking a/c unit that was fixed, then failed again resulting in dripping all night long. Not great.
Hard bed and tired looking furnishing even though there's a big sign in reception saying rooms have been recently refurbished.
Breakfast choice was OK but not as good as Permier Inn for example.
Free wi-fi was slow and intermittent. Either give good free wifi or don't, it's quite simple.
Overall summary would be that the hotel is functional at best, especially given it's location just off the M5.
