picked this hotel for its location as we wanted to see local nation trust properties,we use holiday inns when we can because they are usually good value,we were not dissapointed, the hotel was very comfortable, clean, good breakfast although it was near motorway it was one of the quietest room we have stay in, with a mcdonalds, harvester rest. and an indian rest. just yard away we had plenty of choise for meals.would definately recommend it and stay there again.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by superdv Enjoyable stay - Great Value
We stayed on a promotional rate & I have to say that it was excellent value. The welcome when we arrived was very friendly & check-in efficient (& it was nice to see that our request for a room near the lift had been actioned!)
Despite being so close to the motorway, the room was very quiet thanks to efficient double glazing & it had all the amenities you need.
Breakfast was also very good bearing in mind that this is a 'budget' hotel.
I'd thoroughly recommend this hotel

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Fizzi late arrival
we have stayed several times at H.I Droitwich but this trip was a VERY late arrival. We should have arrived about 12.30 a.m but due to road works it was after 2.00 a.m. The receptionists were very helpful and we settled in very quickly. I would like to say a huge thank you to Michelle & Jamie. Due to an incorrect time given for breakfast my husband and I arrived to late and breakfast had all finished, but both members of staff went out there way to get us something to eat without any hesitation. Nothing was a problem. So once again thank you.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by woodsman61 Brilliant front desk
Excellent location just moments from Junction 5 of M5 and only a few minutes from Webbs of Wychbold garden centre.
Small bar and ample breakfast. Our first stay at Holiday Inn Express and I have to say the front desk were brilliant -especially Magda. On arrival, we found that the air con unit in our room leaked. A call to front desk and 10 minutes later Magda arrived complete with steps, towels for mopping up and guidance notes on how she would fix it! Maintenance staff were not on site late Friday evening. A few minutes later all was resolved and I was able to make my business meeting relaxed in the knowledge that a comfortable room awaited.
Thanks to the team and especially to Magda.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by HarryOHno Carefull of Breakfast!!
The staff where excellent also the room. The only problem we had was the breakfast seating. We had to wait for a table and even though I am partially disabled (Only use a stick) the wait made me very uncomfortable which was a shame as we have stayed in a few Holiday Inns and not had any problems with the breakfast arrangements.
In saying this like I say the staff and rooms are really good value for money.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by lenesod Fantastic service!
Easy to find, very affordable (if you book early) and excellent staff. We came for a wedding, and they kept the bar open longer just for us :) They also helped us in many other ways. The only thing I missed was a refrigerator in the room and some toppings for breakfast (ham, tomatoes and cucumber, for example), otherwise I have nothing to complain about.

Holiday Inn Express is always my 1st choice of hotels as they are so clean and tidy, lovely beds, air con in rooms, we even booked in 3 hours early on our last visit and room was ready.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nobis Good value for money 7 day advance booking/no refund or changes
My parents had stayed here several times recently so that they could visit my fathers terminally ill brother who lived locally.
Unfortunately our latest visit was very sad circumstances to attend my uncles funeral but our stay at the hotel was very comfortable, didn't cost the earth and the staff did all they could to help us.
The bed was a little small at 4'6" wide and had clearly replaced a 5' bed as there was a massive gap between the side cabinets and the bed.
This was a shame as it was an inconvenience and the room was otherwise very satisaactory.
The breakfast was plentiful and varied in selection and the seating area was clean and comfortable.
The reception entrance was large, bright and inviting and the gentleman working on reception was very helpful, polite and professional.
We were surprised to find him working again early the following morning helping out with the breakfast.
Together with another gentleman he continuously brought out fresh food from the kitchen, clean crockery and answered requests made by guests.
Later when we checked out of the hotel he was back on reception and served us with a bright cheery smile.
We thanked him for all of his hard work and he was very appreciative of our comments.
We would certainly recommend this hotel even though our visit was to mark a sad and personal .occasion.

Monday breakfast was a bit of a fiasco due to lack of food, cutlery and china to cater for the number of people who arrived for breakfast at the same time.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by surfingirls Holiday stop over
This is a lovely hotel with very pleasant staff on reception. We used it for a one night stop over in July on our way to Cornwall. Wish we had stayed there on way back also. Was a bit concerned at the amount of dogs being brought in as apparently it is a dog friendly hotel but there was no problem at all. No smell or barking. Very well behaved pets! Will stay here again in future when travelling to south of England.

We arrived during a heatwave to blissful air-conditioning and a warm welcome. Our room was quiet, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The dining area and bar are really good and breakfast excellent. We will happily book again.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nora54 Not everyone drinks cows milk
Everything was very good, except for the lack of soya milk for breakfast. This is the first time I have encountered this and to be honest with a major chain, it's not good enough. I know the breakfast is included in the price, but if that is the case, then consider all your guests please. Very handy for travelling into Worcester and for the M5 back into Birmingham. I will stay again as it is very convenient.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by cricketfan A great find
A lovely modern HIE. When we arrived we saw that we were close to a MacDonalds, Harvester and a Curry House. This was no problem at all with either parking , noise or smell. In fact it was an asset when we ate at the Harvester one evening and found it to be much better than the perception we had of Harvester. Breakfast was average but there was never a queue for tables and food was constantly replenished. The only problem we had ( a faulty air con which leaked) was resolved quickly by a room change. The hotel is also close to a well known garden centre Webb's of Wychbold and although we did not have time to explore it we would have done if time permitted.

Room 110 - despite requesting a room on the QUIET side of the hotel, we were not very happy to be awoken at 5a.m. by the noise of commercial vehicles outside our window.
Very happy with general facilities available at the hotel, and the usual high quality of our room.

Really good hotel. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We had a problem with our car and the young man who was on reception duties on the morning of 22 June was extremely considerate and went out of his way to provide us with telephone numbers and locations of tyre specialists. The room was absolutely fine and the bed extremely comfortable. All in all, a very relaxing stay in a good location.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by teachers An enjoyable stay
We found this hotel was everything we needed. It had really good double glazing. The room was clean, the beds comfortable, the bathroom clean and adequate. The staff were extremely friendly. The only thingw e would like to have had that wasn't there was an additional chair. One of us was able to sit in the chair, but the other person had to sit on the bed, which wasn't ideal. All in all we would come back again.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by DAC2013 Handy for the M5 and good value for money
This hotel is right on the motorway junction so it was perfect for our mid-route stop off. The room was a good size, basic bathroom and for some reason the sheet on the bed was a foot too short so your feet were on the mattress. Room got very hot over night (early June) so you had the choice of opening the window and listening to the lorries whizz by or have the AC on right above the bed and risk a sore throat. Not a good nights sleep.
Breakfast was fine, nothing special but glad to have it unlike other budget hotels.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by tibbiegirl great staff and service
this is the 2nd time i have stayed here and specifically returned as the service was so good. staff put us on ground floor to make it easier for us with the dogs. the rooms are well equipped and modern and beds are so comfortable, great night sleep. breakfast starts early as we had an early start. will stay again. highly recommended the only negative was breakfast first time only had warm rolls and croissants and baked beans and wasnt replenished until we were leaving. this time there was a better cold selection and a full range of hot products but product were lukewarm despite the fact that we were there for a very early breakfast. but service in other ways makes up for this and after all breakfast is free and there is a mcdonalds across the car park. still wouldnt put me off returning

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by mrtheface Exceeded Expectations with Paper Aeroplanes.
I booked this initially because the place had good reviews and it was a great price when I booked it (a week in advance?). I was driving to Devon from Durham for a study day and this was the ideal location for a stop off.
When booking a room online there was a box which noted if I had any special requirements. I entered that I'd like an "Awesome paper aeroplane in my room for when I arrive."
Obviously a paper aeroplane is a simple delight. After a long drive from Durham after finished work at 5.30pm I needed something to buoy my travelling soul.
Can you imagine my delight when I opened the door to a comfortable, clean and spacious room with not one but THREE AWESOME PAPER AEROPLANES. My expectations had been exceeded.
Clearly great care had been taken over the design of the aeroplanes to ensure they were aerodynamic. They seemed to be quite fuel efficient- relying initially on my own kinetic energy. Does this mean that they were carbon neutral?
Such was the excitement of recieving such a bountous gift from Holiday Inn- you might think I never slept a wink- but to that sir, you are emphatically wrong...
I slept *great* because it quiet and bed with adorned with pillows of varying firmness.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Jme284 As expected
Needing an overnight stay, en route from East Norfolk to West Wales, this location was ideal.
Easy to find and park, with a spoilt for choice of 3 local restaurants and the Holiday Inn restaurant to choose from.
Reception was very clean and welcoming, with prompt service given. Room was as expected, clean and tidy with beds made up and enough room for a family of four.
Woke up with bad back (historical), as bed was one you sink into (not memory foam deluxe like home).
Breakfast had all you would need, with newspapers and BBC News on screen available - very relaxed, with a continuous topping up of food by the staff.
Checking out, was as easy as checking in - would stay again, but sleep on the firmer sofa bed (kids can have big bed).
