Have been an ambassador with the Intercontinental Group of Hotel and tried staying in several Holiday inn /express and Intercontinental hotels. This stay had been the worst experience at Holiday Inn Safa Park. Was not acknowledged by staff throughout the stay and had to approach unfriendly staff at reception for assistance. Room key was deactivated access to the room daily to our horror even though the key card was kept nowhere near any electronic devices. Wifi access was unstable even with free wifi facility throughout hotel. Highlighted issues to staff but staff was not empathetic and insistent on their view that nothing was wrong without even lending a listening ear. Limited breakfast variety available but no complains since expectations of the hotel is of a 2 star hotel by the end of the second day of my stay. Only plus point is cheap room rate inclusive of breakfast and wifi in rooms. Would certainly not return or recommend hotel to anyone. Surprised that this is under Holiday Inn Group of Hotels branding.

Overall the hotel stands well above other competitors in the same price category. The fact that sits back form the road is very helpful. The garage service is comfortable if cars are not too large. The lobby is very clean and comfortable. We changed rooms cause some had not been completed in renovation to new TV. Internet service is very good.

New and conveniently located. reception staff are very nice and helpful. One of my collegues (Dr. Sugahara) had a problem of wire connection on 12/06 and had his room re-assigned. His laptop was not originally fit for Wi-Fi and he tried to connect through a cable. Except for this problem, everything is fine. Thanks.

Almost everything was OK, however one evening there were noises (loud noises) coming from some facilities maintenance, that was at 8 pm, it is supposed for the people to let them rest. My family and me were very upset because of the time YOU choose to make your maintenance tasks. I don't like to stay in a hotel were someone is hitting the wall in the room close to mine.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Christian Unfortunately a bad experience due to excess levels of noise....
I visited this hotel for 2 days in late October 2012 for some rest and meet friends.
Unfortunately, at 8:00am we were woken up by the sound of a power drill as they were undertaking essential maintenance. Although, the matter was brought to the management's attention and I was re-assured that the noise will not be on-going thigns didn't get better.
The noise continued the whole day despite reassurances that it will be finished by mid-day so we can at least enjoy a peaceful afternoon. I had the "luck" of being distrubed even on a much needed afternoon nap.
No real recognition for Gold members and certainly we didn't feel that we were looked after.
Emailed several times customer services who responded very coldly with a typical corporate email and without any offer for even the slightest in kind compensation. Do not expect anything when dealing with customer services, really appalling and lacking customer focus.
The hotel is advertised as close to the beach and offering a complimentary shuttle service to the beach. However, it runs only once a day at 10am and returns at 2pm, no other options.
Last but not least, breakfast was really limited. All you get is toast, some juice, bakon, eggs and beans. If you would like some fresh fruits you might as well forget them....

A great hotel run by a very efficient manager. Central location and very friendly service. The value for money cannot be compared to anywhere else. Rooms have just what you need and nothing less. Loved every minute of staying there. Will keep going back

Coffee maker available but water to be bought. Supplies normally not recouped while room making, though supplied immediately on request.
Better to ensure availability of Non smoking rooms in advance, Thankfully, room was changed immediately, if not available, could have spent the night out.
Good facility of complimentary free shuttle every morning.
Though separate desk Identifying Priority Club exists, nothing special to offer nor dedicated person to attend.
