Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Dirty Pool and AC broken in pool area To say that the pool area was gross would be unfair. It was disgusting and unsanitary. The water was so cloudy that I could barely see my 5 year old swimming. While swimming with her cousins, they would find clumps of hair attached to their pool toys. To boot, it felt like I was sitting in a sauna while in the pool. The pool area was suffocating hot when we checked in on Friday, and still broken on Sunday when we left! There were no HVAC people in the greater Columbus area to fix it?? When we complained about the pool being dirty, they were not quick to clean it. Dirty towels on the floor, no toilet paper in the bathroom, and hair acting as a floor design was the norm for two days. It wasn't until Saturday afternoon that they closed down the pool for 2 hours to clean it. I wouldn't let me daughter swim anymore. It would have taken an army of people more than 2 hours to clean it. Also, the maintaince guy came down to bring more towels, and we thought he was going to clean up. When we asked he said that the girl who is supposed to clean the pool area "doesn't like to clean it". Say what?! They need to find a new pool area cleaner. The pool alone is why I wouldn't come back. The room was nice enough, but when you're there with your children and they have nothing to do while waiting for an event, the pool is a must. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Loud Neighbors 1st and foremost the hotel was very clean and the staff was awesome. I am pretty sure there were at least 8 people in the room next to me. they were VERY loud. I had a very difficult time falling asleep. I knew when I got back to the room after work around 5pm it was going to be a long night. I called the front desk and asked to be moved but they said they hotel was sold out and I could not move rooms. They did a walk by but did not work still very loud. At bed time 11pm. still very loud called again said I was sorry but it was really loud. they apologized and said they would walk by again. It was a very long night. July 27, 2015
