The room was very comfortable and we had a comfortable night at the inn. Our only problem was at breakfast the next morning. The pancake maker was out of order, a common problem. I guess the company is trying to be distinctive by offering pancakes instead of waffles but it's not a great idea. The pancakes are thin and mostly unappetizing.
There was also turkey sausage, another tasteless offering, as well as the usual heated up tasteless cheese omelet. The rolls had been sitting out long enough to turn hard. One empty tray had not been removed.
Two of the regular coffee urns were empty and the third was almost empty. It was some time before the coffee was refreshed. I just stayed at a different hotel in a rural area of Indiana the previous week and the breakfast there was much better. We were even offered fresh cut-up fruit (mango and pineapple).
The breakfast at your Inn in Royse City, TX is equally unappetizing. We usually go to Denny's, and I hate Denny's. You really need to re-think your breakfast menu. You don't do it very well.

Everything you have grown to expect at the HIE. Clean comfortable hotel. Breakfast staff kept things fresh and plentiful.

As a Platinum Ambassador, i expect the service from the point of walking in the front door and out at the end to be a seamless experience. Holiday Inn Expresses are my home away from home. Each time I stay at the Dublin address, I feel as though, for my brief stays, that I am coming home. Thanks everyone!
