Members of the staff were very responsive to our needs. Everything was very clean.
Only slightly negative was the A/C controls did not seem to work as indicated but it was so minor we did not even mention it.
All the food we had was very well prepared and fresh. Some additional choices would have been nice on the Dinner menu or at least varied from day to day.
The park across the street was a great way to walk off the weariness of travel.

Often stay at CP Santry. Last June I checked in after 2am following a very delayed flight etc. it took 2 mins only and then a lovely upgrade to Suite awaited me. I had also just won a Range Rover Vogue at Dublin airport. The Suite match my wining vibe. !! Great timing. Nice. Staff are nicer. Veronika , Pawel and team at reception are ' the business'. Nicole at Res is so helpful , I felt so at home last visit too.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Comfortable; great value
Stayed 2 nights getting over jet lag before heading to Wales. Very nice hotel with all you need. It is about a 20 minute drive into downtown Dublin. We would stay there again for the value, but will try for a similar hotel downtown on our next visit.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Apples77 Lovely hotel but VERY NOISEY
Stayed for 2 nights. The rooms was lovely, most of the staff were very efficient and helpful. The breakfast was also very nice, a lot of choice (but very expensive if paying seperately) The only problem I had with the hotel was the fact it was so noisy at night time. We were on the first floor and could hear loud music and people shouting and talking downstairs, in the hallway and in the room next door. I struggled to sleep because of this.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Patrick922 Rest Up after Over night Trip
I stayed here after arriving in Dublin from Charlotte early Friday morning. I had to call the hotel to find the shuttle pick up location but soon had a shuttle to the hotel. Surpisingly to me upon arrival the front desk was able to place me in a room immediately and I could get started on my catch up on sleep. I was on the Executive floor and had access to the executive lounge. OVerall a pleasant stay. A wedding party caused some noise during the night. Breakfast was included and very nice.

i was disappointed with my stay this time. While the check in was v efficient, I found the following very disappointing:
Curtains - have a look at the right hand curtain, there's something disgusting on the back of it which I saw when pulling the curtain
teaspoons dirty with tea stains, seemed they had not been washed after last use
toilet dripping ++ - I'm a light sleeper and the toilet dripped constantly (until I filled the toilet bowl with toilet paper which 'dampened down the noise of the drip)

I have stayed in this hotel many, many times and have never been disappointed. The standard and service are always first class. Clean stylish rooms with very comfortable beds. I must give a complement to the terrific receptionist who booked us in, I'm sorry I did not get her name, but she would be easily identified by her accent, South African maybe, so professional and friendly, a really good first impression of the hotel.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by TOMG2009 Hot room, little help
I stayed one evening. Typically I would stay next door in the Holiday Inn Express. I chose the Crown Plaza hoping for a more upscale stay as It had been a long trip. The reception staff was understaffed and seemed worn. My room was incredibly hot and the A/C did not work. The consierge immediately checked into it and said he would assure it was fixed by the evening. upon returning, the staff had changed and the problem remained. After a second attempt to resolve it, I was told that a fan would be brought to the room. Upon returning after a late night dinner - the fan was tiny, old, and sounded like a hampster wheel. Upon my third visit to reception (now after 12am) I was told that someone would be up to look at the A/C. I pushed back. The problem was resolved with a larger quiet fan. Though the problem was resolved, I got little sleep and the staff seemed put out. I will stick to less expensive properties where my expectations aren't as high.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Farrocious Crowne Plaza Dublin
The Crowne Plaza, Santry, Dublin is ideally located close to the airport for travellers catching an early morning flight or visit Dublin for business or leisure.
The modern hotel has an excellent bar with friendly local staff always willing to make you smile while they fill your glass. The restaurant serves high quality lunches, dinners and a very hearty breakfast buffet.
Despite its proximity to the airport the noise level in the hotel is very low as the property is located parkland.
For those travelling into the centre of Dublin there is an frequent public bus service close to the hotel.
This hotel does not feel like an airport hotel and is highly recommended..

Arrived in two cars in a heavy downpour. Staff were helpful and arranged an additional room for one of the grandchildren who was down with a cold. Third time staying here for a flight back to the US.

We decided to change hotels at the last minute and are so glad we did. We stopped over in Dublin on our way to New York from London and we felt spoilt and very relaxed in the hotel. Superb service from all staff, shuttle bus was brilliant and hotel and rooms were of a very high standard!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Annemarieod Great place to stay
,This was a really lovely place to stay. The check in staff were very efficient and friendly. I also had lots of help with my luggage. The room was really nicely furnished.
The only major fault I could find is that children are not welcome in the restaurant areas after 8pm. I was traveling as a solo parent with a very well behaved 11 year old. We had to leave the hotel to get food in the evening. I don't think it would be too difficult for the hotel to make a smaller family area. (If it is already there I didn't see it) I was just very aware of signs saying no children after 8pm. It would stop me from returning to this otherwise great hotel. ,

Chose this hotel as a convenient stopover on the way from and return to the UK for a cycle touring holiday on the West Coast of Ireland. Very accommodating staff, making sure that our cycles were secure on both sides of our trip. Made a very pleasant change from camping!

We enjoyed a fantastic weekend at the Crowne Plaza - everything we could have hoped to find was provided. We spend a lot of time in hotels across the country as our Son is a Sprinter and this stay was the best we have experienced this year. The room was great and for us the relaxed dining in the bar/lounge area offered a good choice with waitress service where we were able to unwind.
Breakfast was equally good huge selection and well stocked with good service.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Cher-IHG Very nice place to stay
It's near the airport, and in a local park actually. Can take a comfortable walk and have pleasant time in the park if not going out. Staff is very friendly and helpful, attending to customer needs actively. Pity I expected higher on the breakfast as of CrownPlaza. Atmosphere and ambience is good, but variety of choice is pretty limited.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by navanoda Adequate Airport Property
Conveniently located hotel with expected standard for a Crowne Plaza property.
During this stay their was a large evening wedding reception; some guests continued their socializing well into the wee hours of the morning -- congregating around the elevator entrance on my floor -- and the noise was awful. It would be more than helpful to other guests if large(r) event guests are relegated to their "own" floor thus minimizing the disruption to others! Similarly, the abundance of hard surfaces in the bar/lounge area made conversation almost impossible due to the surrounding din.

We stayed as we had an early checkin at Dublin Airport, good price for a clean and modern room. Unfortunately we couldn't take advantage of breakfast as we had to leave at 6am. Free shuttle bus from the hotel to the airport is great.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by CHIGS Nice hotel and Nice area
The hotel was nice and the Northwood area itself was nice, there was a lovely park across the road. The room was excellent, cleanliness and comfort were of high standard. There was supposed to be a cocktail hour in the club lounge but cocktails were not available. Beer, wine and soft drinks were the available drinks. We ate in the bar and the order was mixed up so i had to wait for my order while all my friends were served and finished their food before i got mine. They apologised and said it would not be charged but when it came to chekcing it was on the bill but was removed upon request, the Hotel was lovely but quite expensive. It was right next to another Hotel and parking was shared by the 2. Staff were friendly and polite.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by coach2020 great place
Other than our service in the bar's restaurant being very slow getting us a receipt we had a fantastic stay here. I do wish they would offer hand towels but other than that the rooms are great, the breakfast is fantastic and the guy who drives the airport shuttle really knows how to make the trip a good time. He even went out of his way to find the ipod my daughter left on the shuttle bus and bring it to the United lady who had called them for us! Fantastic service. I would highly recommend the place.

I HAD WANTED TO BOOK BLANCHARDSTOWN WHICH WAS NOT AVAILABLE,, SO i WAS PLEASED TO ACCEPT THE ONE NIGHT STAY HERE BEFORE MOVING ON FOR THE OTHER 6 NIGHTS.
HOWEVER I NOW KNOW NORTHWOOD AND WOULD USE IT AGAIN.
THE PARK SETTING WAS VERY ATTRACTIVE
BUT MOST IMPORTANT WAS THE GREETING BY OLGA ON RECEPTTION AND THE ASTTENTION BY PORTER MARLON

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Harold 65 Let down by TV and bathroom
The room that we had was classed as 'accessible' but unfortunately the bathroom let it down. The shower was over the bath but usually in a accessible room I would expect to have a walk in shower. My wife has problems getting over the edge of a bath. I did at time of booking ask about the shower and was told it was a walk in one.
We were very surprised that the television was an old tubed one rather that a LCD wide screen. It did mean that a lot of the people being interviewed were cut off. The program was about the Commonwealth Games so it was important to see every one who was talking.
