Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Small Lot When I called to schedule the room, I asked specifically about having enough room for my full sized truck and a 5th wheel camper. I was told I could park in front of the dumpster. I assumed that also meant I could turn to get out. As I pulled in there was a sign that said no trucks. I got parked in front of the dumpster, BUT I could not get out with all the cars there. FORTUNATELY, some cars had left early in the morning so I had room to turn and get out. Had the lot been full of cars, I would not have been able to get out. Please let people know this. Unless it is a small camper, there is not enough room for large campers and trucks turn. Even if a car parks on the ends of the rows, that limits the space. The bathroom was missing a faucet handle. The air conditioner had to be turned way down in order for the fan to stay on. It was my mom's first trip in over 6 years and the hotel's handicapped accessibility made the trip SO MUCH easier. We were attending a family wedding which was just 10 minutes away. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by this stay was better I have stayed at this one before and had major problems with wake up calls, room cleaning and so forth, Also have had major issues this month with other Holiday Inns, This one was refreshing as in they were redoing the hotel and I got a freshly painted room, staff was friendly. even when they forgot to make my room up one day they were friendly and cordial about it. They gave me extra towels the first time I asked instead of making up the room. They are getting their act to gether here and I would reccommend this hotel May 3, 2013

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by drunks at the pool I picked this hotel as it had a pool for my childen to use. On arrival to the hotel the check in was fine. When I took my children to the pool the hot tub had at least ten men it in. There was a case of beer sitting next to the hot tub and the men were drinking alcohol out of red plastic cups. Their language was laden with foul words and expressions. We left the pool and went back to our room. Our room was right across from the pool. On going to the front desk there were men arguing in the lobby and the manager seemed overwhelmed.I went back to my room and waited until the morning to report the problem as I was worried about the overall safety of this hotel. The morning manager apologized and stated alcohol wasnt allowed in public areas. To apologize she gave me 2000 priority points. I didnt think this was the correct solution but didnt pursue it more as the same men that were drinking the previous night had now entered the lobby. I was on a 10 day vacation and stayed at 3 other holiday express on the trip and they were outstanding. This property falls below the standards of the others. April 22, 2013

The Staff at The Holiday Inn Express in Dubois, PA delivers Exceptional Customer Service. From the initial contact to set up the reservations, to check in and check out there is not one negative thing to remark. Making the reservations was quick and easy. I received the requested room preference (i.e. always request first floor room). Check in was simple and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. There was always fresh coffee in the lobby. The entire stay was wonderful due to the Staff. The property is comfortable and spotless. January 21, 2013

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Okay Experience The room was uncomfortable, the heat kept coming on even though we turned it off. For the first time at an IGH the mattresses were just okay. Not far from highway so it is an easy place to crash for a night. The IGH search engines needs to return appropriate results for pets accepted. DuBois comes up accepting pets and it does not. Fortunately ours is a service animal -- but the front desk staff was rude about it. January 4, 2013

From the warm and friendly greetings, to the freshly-baked cookies, and the chilled water bottles, to the already-prepared roll-away bed, they just got it right. We were tired and weary when we arrived and definitely felt better soon after. We love staying in DuBois and are grateful for the excellence in anticipating and meeting our needs. Thank you! Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Easy on & off Stayed here on an overnight on my way to Cleveland. It has the usual HIE food and rooms. They were clean, comfortable and quiet. My only issue is that they (like all HIE) have double beds instead of queen beds. October 15, 2012
