Management very good, and enjoyed the evening snack,
that is always a plus for travelers. Will stay there again
when I travel that way.

I arrived late and was greeted by a very friendly desk clerk. Everyone is a little tired at 1:00 in the morning but she was very cheery.
I was upgraded to a king suite which made the 6 hour drive worth it

Had a great experience from the moment we walked into the lobby area and were greeted by a friendly and helpful person at the check in desk. All features and conveniences shown on the web page for this hotel exceeded our expectations.

Staff at check in, simply not friendly and welcoming at all. She would love her job if she didn't have to deal with people dropping in.

Very nice hotel. One of the better Holiday Inn Express. I especially liked the new décor of the room in particular the added small table and two chairs for eating. Well worth the stay if you're in the Dumas TX area.

This HIE property is on par with the consistent and reliable offerings typically associated with the HIE brand. Pricing was fair, room size was generous, and a happy hour (alcoholic and non-alcoholic with dry hors d'oeuvres) was included upon check-in which is a bit unique. Management provided good suggestions for dinner options. The internet on the 4th floor is pretty sketchy - slow, difficult to access, and even more difficult to maintain. A stronger signal should be installed. Check-in was a bit slow at peak time as the lone clerk was overwhelmed with a couple of special requests. She managed ably, but when new arrivals wind up sitting on the foyer couches provided in disgust and frustration, she needed additional manpower to handle the load. A child that appeared to be a manager's child was seen darting back and forth behind the front desk. I suspect the other staff member was tending to the child rather than the customers. Regardless, in this Panhandle town, the Texas spirit and good-natured friendliness is alive and well.

We heard every noise above us. Request a top floor to be able to sleep to breakfast time. The breakfast was excellent.
