Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Service with an attitude This was the last Holiday Inn Express we stayed before returning home. The service was the worst of them all. I was kept waiting for several minutes while the desk woman spoke on the phone without even acknowledging that I was there. She seemed annoyed that she had to help me when she got off the phone. I accidentally dropped a bottle of tomato juice on the driveway in front of the entrance and it made a mess. When my wife reported this to her, she was non-responsive. I had to clean up all the broken glass. We went to the front desk about an hour later wanting directions to a restaurant. She was too busy talking with some young man to stop and help us. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent stay We stayed here five nights while visiting family in the area. We found this hotel to be very clean and comfortable, staff friendly and helpful, breakfast excellent with a variety of choices. Complimentary coffee all evening and very nice guest laundry. We will definitely stay here next time we visit and will recommend it to friends and family. Thank you HIEX for making our stay a good experience. November 1, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Service Traveling with a group who all stayed at this establishment. Entire group were very pleased with the accommodations. Our group consisted of grandparents, parents and children. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We needed space to do some practicing for the competition we were attending, they made several suggestions and in the end provided us with the space. We are very appreciative. October 28, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Clean room but not ready for check in We went to check in at 3:00 p.m., the normal check-in time, and no rooms were ready. We were told that "we reserved two queen sized beds and that's why", because most of the hotel is queen-sized beds??? Then as we were walking out with all of our luggage, the clerk yelled "Bye" as if to be smart because we weren't very happy that we had unpacked our car and came in to check in, just to not have a room available. When we returned at 4:00 p.m., our room was still not ready because they new clerk whited out our room "key" and gave us another one. So, we did get to check in at 4:00, but just very surprised that they were not ready at the check in time. There were only about 10 cars in parking lot, so I imagine most guests that were checking out had done so that morning. The room keys later that night also quit working and we could not get in the hotel from the back entrance, nor our room. We had to go wait at the front desk and have them reprogrammed, along with other guests having the same problem. The room was clean and beds were soft. However, we could hear the guests showering and flushing the toilets above us which I could have done without. We would stay there again, but it would not be our first choice for that area as of right now. October 24, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Clean, Comfortable, and Close to I-85 This Holiday Inn was close and easy to find off the interstate. The room was very clean and everything was ready when we arrived. The bed was comfortable and room was not crowded. The staff was friendly and said to let them know if there was anything we needed. We had a good night sleep and hearty breakfast in the morning. We will stay here again when in the area and would recommend this Holiday Inn to our friends and family. October 21, 2014
