Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very handy! We found the hotel very easily and parked up on the third floor as the website suggested. A short walkway takes you straight into the hotel. Hotel itself was bright and airy. The twin room was bright, clean and my son loved the loo/bathroom combination door (once you've been, you'll see what I mean!) Staff were professional and pleasant with it. July 27, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Dirty , poor example of Scottish hotel standards A large contingent of overseas visitors where staying at this hotel. Goodness knows what they will report back. Out of a tray of supposedly washed cups there was one that was free of old dregs of coffee. My granddaughters bowl for her cereal was chipped with a crack in it, the underside of her plate for her toast was caked in hardened baked beans. This was after we had to wait for the crockery to arrive as the staff had failed to notice that they had run out. when I approached a female member of staff about this her response was " I don't usually do breakfasts I can't deal with this". She made no attempt to get someone who could deal with it but said that they probably needed a new dishwasher. There was no-one on reception and when someone did appear there he appeared harassed but at least offered an apology but that was it. He did say that he would speak to the staff concerned but we had had a very poor experience and I just felt that they weren't interested. The previous night I had asked for an Indian take away menu but they couldn't provide one. They had a folder of menus but it had to stay at the desk. I can't believe that there is not an Indian take away in the near vicinity. We ended up with a very poor takeaway. July 14, 2014
