Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Ultra-convenient to Spring Training
My second stay at this great location. Went for a Jays Spring Training game, and walked along the bicycle trail to the stadium. After the game, I enjoyed walking to nearby restaurants, shops, and bars. The hotel is very up to date, with a friendly staff, great rooms, and ample breakfast choices.

We stayed to watch some spring training baseball games and the location was perfect! We were able to walk to the game on a nice bike trail and were also within walking distance to all of the shops and resturants. I was recommend staying there.

I booked a room at this hotel requesting a balconey which was offered on the web sight. When I checked in I was told that the hotel didn't offer balconeys. I felt decieved because it was offered on line when booking the reservation. They did compensate by deducting 40.00 from bill. Also when sitting in one of the areas by the patio/pool area. A maintenance working turned the sprinklers on us. I'm sure he had to have seen us. We changed hotels after two days to get a room more to our liking. The room was clean and the staff was pleasent, just not what I expected. I didn't take advantage of the complimentary breakfast but it looked very nice.

The only complaint I have is that you would like guests to reuse towels but there are no towel racks to put towels in so it becomes difficult to have dry towels unless you only use them one time.

All the staff was great and very helpful. Great location, pool area was a nice place to hang out. Breakfast was very good!

When ever we travel, whenever possible, we stay at Holiday Inn & Expresses or Holiday Inns. We know what to expect, we know the comfort, we know the cleanliness. Just like coming home.
The ONLY thing I would recommend is, that they upgrade their Kleenex & toilet papers.

We recently stayed here for a trip to see some spring training games. Great location, walking distance to a great little downtown area, yet a quick drive to several ballparks(walking distance to Blue Jays). Hotel was clean, and staff very friendly.

New carpets and paint give the rooms a fresh look. Updated countertops in bathrooms too. No towel rack though. Towels take up too much room on the counter.

I was impressed with the owners and their friendliness with not only their customers, but also their staff, who where great, and also their willingness to dig in and work along side the staff. We have stayed in a lot of HIE, and this would have to rank right at the top!

Outstanding staff including front desk, breakfast personnel, room cleaning service. Excellent choices and ample supply at breakfast. Very comfortable room and bed.
Would stay here again if in the area. Have already had the opportunity to recommend it to others.

We were passing through Dunedin, thought we would stay one
night and ended up staying three nights. Our room had been
freshly painted, had new carpet & vanity and was very clean.
Included breakfast was a great way to start the day - something
there to please everyone. Pool and hot tub were both very well
kept. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel location was within easy walking distance of the waterfront & downtown restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.

Can't wait for the new suites. The mattress we had was old. unable to control room temperature. Bathroom lighting was good. However old shower.
Every Holiday Inn, Express also, we are always given water & a bag of treats. We pay more to stay at this one and get nothing other than a thank you for being a priority platinum member.
We stop in Dunedin every year to visit friends and I am hoping next year the rooms will be improved.

Thank you for helping make our stay in Dunedin a pleasurable trip. We reserved 2 rooms and our accomodations met our needs. The lobby/common area of the hotel is comfortable and relaxing. We spent a lot of time at the pool and in the common area visiting with our family. This town in amazing... so quaint and the people were all very friendly.
We will be back!

Rooms and hallways very quiet. Hotel staff extremely friendly. Made excellent recommendations for dining. Very convenient to downtown Dunedin and Pinellas Trail. Good variety of dining options nearby.

I stayed at your lovely hotel on 18,19 and 20 October 2012 checking out Sunday morning 21 October. I was pleasantly surprised upon arrival. The property is comfortable, exactly in the right place, good looking and the staff was friendly beyond the required, and extremely helpful. The room was clean as can be and comfortable and quiet. That was the first two nights. Saturday night was just the opposite.
There was a late party of sorts traveling through several of the rooms with yelling and banging that should have been obvious to anybody on duty. It woke me and kept me awake so I decided to leave early as I was wasting time. After I loaded the car, I went to check out so I could turn in the key cards. I also thought I needed to provide a signature on the receipt that was slipped under the door. When I got to the front desk i saw a sign informing me that the desk clerk was away helping other guests. So I waited thinking that your employee was busy and knowing that it is tough to be in two places at once. I waited and waited and after a while a young woman came through the front door delivering a meal. As it turns out, the meal was for the deskman who was asleep in the office. Asleep. More wasted time and the kicker is he was certain that I should have known that I didn't need to sign the receipt that had a signature block.

Staff were eager and ready with a bulging binder of source materials about area restaurants, shops, and activities. (not just standard tourist brochures!) Room was very nice, comfortable. Be aware that some floors have a mix of "smoking" and "non-smoking" rooms. The pool is warm, and the hot tub is quite relaxing. My husband enjoyed the modest but well functioning exercise room. Off site gym access is available at a larger facility, too. The breakfast is a mix of hot and cold selections and good coffee. We hope to stay there again very soon.

excellent customer service esp. christiana and rick.......having nothing to do with this specific hotel...i have a major problem....i will have to go to a competitor because holiday inn does not have a long stay (kitchen facilities etc) in this area or within an hour of this area......VERY DISAPPOINTED!

My sister-in-law and I were in Florida for my grandson's wedding. We were both extremely pleased with our room, the hospitality of the staff, and the location of the hotel. We hope to have a reason to return to Dunedin sometime, just to relax and enjoy both this hotel and the surrounding area.
