Having stayed at many hotels I always look for Holiday in Express first as I find them always of an acceptable standard, clean and friendly. I was not disappointed this time and was pleasantly surprised by the new lay out. Having recently been travelling and staying at high cost hotels both here and aboard, I can say that the bathroom facilities you provide are far superior than many with an excellent shower. On arrival I was welcomed by friendly and chatty reception staff who were not just trying to get us to our room and asked where we would be visiting during our stay and having experience of our destinations.
The only issue I had was lack of information on local restaurants as the hotel chef was sick. We did eat at a Hungary Horse local to the hotel which was not bad but no somewhere you want go back to

Hotel is fairly new so very modern and comfortable. I work three days per week in Milton Keynes which has two Holiday Inns available; but I drive 13 miles to stay here!
Hotel is great but the key aspect is the staff!!!
Recomended!

We went as a family of four and stayed at this location as it is close to Whipsnade Zoo and we wanted somewhere cheap, but clean and reliable. I am pleased to say we weren't let down. The room was modern, clean and in good repair. The reception staff were really helpful and helped print out our zoo tickets that we forgot. Breakfast was good, although could be improved with bacon, black pudding and cranberry juice on the menu, but what was there was lovely and the children were thrilled with it all. We got a great rate which included breakfast and I cannot fault it. I travel a lot for business and was impressed. I would recommend and would stay there again should I need to be in that location.

The hotel was a great base as we were attending a wedding nearby.It was easy to find with plenty of parking and booking in was quick and easy.
We were greeted by two very friendly and very helpful members of staff.
The hotel and the room were spotlessly clean with easy access to cold drinks and snacks should we need them.
It was such a shame that the shower was just not that powerful - it can out slowly and took a while to get the temperature right.
But the biggest disappointment was the bed - it was so soft that I kept rolling into my husband and therefore I did not get a good nights rest.
I would say for the price it is great value for money - just get a bed for one!

Lovely hotel. Very clean and confortable. Had everything we needed even a late bar. Very good location and excellent views of the downs. Staff were first class and nothing was too much trouble.
Would most certainly recommend.

Accomodation and staff were okay but we found the service for the evening meal difficult We had not realised there would only be a limited choice on the menu especially for my wife who as we enquired earlier .She is a diabetic and vegetarian .There were simply not enough staff to cater for anyone who wanted an evening meal .We would probably have been better advised to go to the Holiday Inn proper since we were wanting to share a meal with close relatives .We felt the limited number of staff were doing their best to cope as they had to cater for new arrivals at reception,look after the bar and also serve meals.
