Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Great stay and very helpful staff Spent 2 nights here for my son's wedding in Dunstable. The staff were very helpful , getting directions to the wedding venues,, making sure the wedding party were all looked after. The room was lovely, very clean, everything we needed. I am it sure how comfortable the main bed was as my grandson slept in the bug bed with my husband and was sent to the sofa bed, which was very comfortable! The breakfast choices were lovely and we were even offered vege sausages ad we don't eat pork. Would definitely recommend and will stay there again. July 1, 2014

We had a good nights sleep and it was nice to have a hot/buffet breakfast the next morning. We will certainly stay here again in the future. July 1, 2014

All of the staff were very friendly, most helpful and also happy which cannot always be said for hotel staff. The food and bar were both excellent with sufficient choice for all tastes. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Visit to warner bros Initially booked with superbreak as an overnight stay after harry potter I decided that my freind and myself deserved a n extension so booked night before ! Easy booking with Stuart but room was more expensive then room breakfast and attraction with superbreak !! Little mix up on arrival speedily sorted out by Stuart with courtesy and attention ! Too what was requested with twin bed facilities ! Room airy clean with fantastic shower complete with gels soaps etc !!! Very comfy beds and free view tv ! Plus of course wi-fi Breakfast next morning was a surprise very well presented and a very good choice ,self service was also a boon ! but my friend was disappointed no bacon !! On returning from our visit to harry potter we decided to have a relaxing snack of crisps and coke cola horrified to discover the packet eaten by my pregnant friend was a month out of date !! I returned it to the desk to be met with strange looks not really the right response ! Going up to the room for a little rest we had already decided to go out for dinner !!! The card won't open the door !! Back down and again not right response ! Breakfast next morning was same excellent standard and 11am checkout was brilliant ! On checkout out again Stuart asked if we had eaten in hotel because I had inquired evening before and was very apologetic when our story was relayed to him and then we were thanked for fetching it to the attention of the hotel ! Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good value for money if you need to be in the area The hotel is very conveniently located for Whipsnade Zoo, and offers excellent value for money. The room facilities are good and clean, but the noise from the corridor can sometimes be quite prominent. The breakfast experience is rather hectic though. June 25, 2014

Had stayed at other hotels in region before staying here and found the customer service very poor and accommodation standard and tired, not a patch on this place. The team who run this hotel are simply fabulous, Robert, Victoria, Mitchell, Jo, Lenka, Gosia and Louise are the reason I love staying here, they go out of their way to make my stay enjoyable nothing is too much. Whilst the menu may be limited, remember this is standard with IHX hotel, not had a bad meal here. Other than that this is a great place to be based, surrounded by some great walks and plenty of hills with spectacular views. Rooms are still like new, and good sizes too, desks in every room so I can work too. You won't be disappointed if you stay here, plent of colleagues stay here now on my recommendation and we all agree great place and value for money too. June 25, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A great example of what a Holiday Inn Express should be I stay here fairly regularly when working in Luton. The location is ideal, only a 10-15 minute drive from Luton, but not under the flight path into LTN, so no early morning aircraft noise. The windows are well insulated so I get no noise from the A5 either, which was a concern when I saw the location. There's also some stunning views from the top of the hill just a few minutes' walk away, which is also a good place to go running. The hotel is really well maintained and always very clean; the rooms still look brand new. Free wi-fi throughout is useful for work or social use in the evenings, although a few useful applications are blocked which is a bit frustrating (IMAP for some email providers, SIP for Facetime video and VPN), but can't really grumble for free. A decent size TV with a full range of Freeview channels is useful, and much better that the antiquated analogue hotel systems used in some other (supposedly) premium hotel chains! Food and beer quality is OK, can't really say much better than that, and having tried pretty much everything on the menu, I am looking forward to that changing which is apparently "soon". Let's not lose sight of the fact that this is a budget/business hotel, so we don't expect fine dining, and I've never had a bad meal. The worst thing about this hotel is the coffee, I did hear someone say a new machine was on its way - that can't come soon enough. Breakfast is usual HIX fare, and some days it looks unappealing, but that doesn't really vary across the brand, it is what it is ("free"). Staff are always cheerful, helpful and friendly, which goes a long way. June 18, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Outstanding Staff I am a regular visitor at HIE Dunstable and quite categorically it is the staff that make my stay so enjoyable. A hotel is only as good as its employees as far as I'm concerned and can with some degree of qualification, as a staff trainer by profession, say that these people have got it absolutely right. Jo, Julianne, Lenka, Gosha, Michelle, Robert, David, Sean, John, Emma and last, but not least Louise, the Manager are dedicated to ensuring that they deliver a high quality service, often thankless and under pressure, but they always deliver and with a smile. They are professional, dedicated and a worthy credit to this hotel and the IHG Group as a whole. Well done and thank you for making long periods away from home so bearable.
