Wonderful new hotel with very helpful staff, all as expected from a Holiday Inn Express - except the breakfast. Disappointed that hot buffet was not available, and was replaced by bacon baps & wraps.

didn't enjoy my stay with the family attall! breakfast was non existant, don't know how we were not evacuated with smoke coming out the toaster! a lot of disgruntled guests on 250415 milk ran out , coffee ran out , and hardly any bacon on a dry roll after 15mins wait!

Overall the stay was good but on arrival there was a tray catching some dripping sludge from the ceiling. They key card to the room did not work. Staff could also not get it to work they let us in and later returned with a working keycard.. Breakfast was okay but there were no Bacon roll and we had to wait over 20 minutes until these were available. On departure there was no-one was at reception fortunately we chose to wait to handover our key as we were told that they had not taken payment for the room. This should have been taken on booking.

Das Hotel liegt auf unserer Rückreise sehr günstig.
Leider ist der Zustand der Schlafsofas in einem
sehr schlechten Zustand. Es ist fast eine Zumutung so etwas anzubieten. Wir fahren mit Enkelkindern
10 und 11 Jahre alt. Beim ersten mal mußte ich
nachts das Bett tauschen. Dieses mal hat sich unsere
Enkeltochter ein Kissen untergelegt, damit sie die
Schrauben und Spiralen nicht so spürt. Leider
hat das Frühstück sehr nachgelassen. Es gab kein Rührei, keinen Speck und keinen Käse sondern

Not for the first time at a Holiday Inn as a disabled guest do I have to struggle down the car park past the BMW's & Mercedes none of which are displaying a blue badge, can somebody not enforce the rules

Hotel is basic but clean, as is the room, but the mattress was appallingly uncomfortable, didnt get much sleep at all.
Staff were not interested in my comments about said mattress...
Breakfast Ok, but the wraps and rolls were decididly soggy.

I would strongly recommend this hotel because of very new and clean facilities, kindness of all the staffs, nice breakfast, and easy access to many places to visit, such as Ashridge Estate, ZSL Whipsnade Zoo, etc. My family was really enjoying!
