only caveat is that for a town that had 3 feet of snow, there weren't really any wool blankets or a comforter on the bed. I don't really like having to put the heat up really high to compensate, but I did. Still slept fine but wore lots of clothes so that the heat wouldn't need to come on in the night.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by A M 5 Surprisingly good complimentary breakfast
Overall it was what I expected at a Holiday Inn. Except the bed at this particular hotel was not very comfortable. The parking lot was all icy and not sanded well. The cost was reasonable however reasonable I'm sure as it was off season. Would have anticipated better if the cost was at peak season. The food however was surprisingly good and good variety as well. The staff was kind and friendly. Hotel in a very safe area.

A good Holiday Inn Express. Staff is friendly and courteous. Hotel in general and guest rooms are clean and odor-free. Typical breakfast fare. Despite the recent heavy snows, they did a pretty good job in clearing the parking area.

My onky complaint was that there was only 1 luggage cart in the entire hotel - there should be at least one for every floor

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Melodeon-Seattle Good stop for conference at UNH
In Durham NH for weekend conference at UNH; slightly disabled (really bad knee). Staff did everything i needed in terms of special consideration. Room good-grade commercial; breakfast not "gourmet" (nor would that be expected) but had plenty of choices, and food was kept well-supplied during pre-conference breakfast rush. Checkout clean and efficient. Great hotel staff.
Only minor complaint is that management closed out the conference pre-book rate much earlier than usual. (This is an annual event.) All of a sudden lowest rate was 2.5x the usual. Then it wasn't; instead only 1.3x the conference rate (after AARP discount.) Almost booked in nearby town, at 0.5x what I finally paid. Holiday In Express taking advantage of being the only commercial hotel/motel in town in this way may help the short-term bottom line, but consider this; I now know where _all_ the nearest hotel/motels are, nearby, and how road-accessible they are to Durham.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by RPLDW Dancer Lodging for Ralph Page Legacy Dance Weekend
Comfortable place to stay, good service, but is becoming too expensive for a dance weekend (up $10 from last year's dance weekend rate.) Nice breakfast room where dancers can socialize during breakfast, convenient location for dance weekend lodging.
