Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Poor Direction given by staff When we asked the lady at the desk about places to eat and we were asking about a Mexican restaurant all she told us was turn right out of parking lot and its down on the left. Ok we thought that was simple enough. It would have been nice had she stated that we should turn left onto the road it was on and that this town does not have signs that light up at night (IT WAS VERY DARK) and that we would have to look closely for it. Was very disappointed in the directions as well as the restaurant. November 21, 2014

The hotel was clean and well maintained, and the amenities we sufficient to allow me to come and go as needed without searching for an attendant to assist me or solve a problem. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Close to RTP, clean and comfortable, but poor breakfast First the good: plenty of parking, comfortable rooms, very clean and tidy and a good location for RTP and surrounding area. The bad: very limited choice for breakfast and all served on disposable plates/cutlery/cups. Not a very nice experience first thing in a morning. The sound proofing between bathrooms leaves a lot to be desired, too, although the bedrooms themselves do seem to fare better. November 17, 2014

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by room not ready and too few beds When we arrived a little after 4 p.m., we were informed by the front desk that our room was not ready for check in as they had had a very busy day and not all of the rooms had been cleaned. We were informed we would have to wait, although we had 3 young children with us and we were trying to get to a UNC-Chapel Hill game and needed to pick up our tickets asap. Then, when we finally could get into our room, it was a king sized bed and a regular couch-not even a fold out sofa-for our family of 5. I called the front desk to find our why our expected room with 2 beds was a king size and loveseat sized couch and to see if anything else was available. I was informed they were booked for the night and that's all they had. I asked for a cot, and was told they would see if they had one available. By the time we left for the game, no cot yet, but we had to go. When we came back after the game, hours later, still no cot in the room. So I called the front desk again, and a different person was there by now, and requested one. He soon brought us one, which helped a lot. But during the night, our 6 yr old hit her head on the hard corner of the cot and got a bruise and a small cut above her left eye. With all of this stuff going wrong, we won't be staying here again. Also, we got no special recognition as Gold IHG Rewards Club Members. It wasn't even acknowledged. This is the only property where this has ever happened to us. :/ November 11, 2014
